Cynthia! I look forward to the TR and hopefully some about the race. I get what you mean about your girls trips being something different, in a good way, from trips with your kids or husband. I mean, I guess I don't get the whole girls trip thing per se, but yeah, it is nice to have time with your like minded friends to unwind and get away from things.

So, obviously, I did not get to all replies yesterday because the boards were down all DAY!

It was nice of them to warn us.

Or maybe they did and I just missed it?

Great intro pictures Cynthia! I feel your pain in not seeing the college age kiddos but once or twice a year. Hopefully, Kendall will get to visit sooner rather than later.

You and Mary Ellen make this old gal feel like a dang loafer, a no-good lazy couch potato. Lately, the only exercise that I've gotten is taking the new puppy in and out to pee and you-know-what.

I still can't figure out why flights from BWI are always cheaper than Philly.

It used to be 50-50, but now I think they are consistently cheaper, at least on SWA! That being said, I am flying out of Philly at the end of the month and flying back into.....are you ready......??????.......Wilmington!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Schafer's Canal House there.

Really? Cool! I love the outside deck. It's really nice. Our meal was kind of "eh", but the view is great. I think the food used to be better.

I didn't think a camera counted for that? I thought that was just cell phones and computers on iPads.

Thank you! I actually spent an hour or so this afternoon watching youtube videos from last year. I'm pretty nervous about the race, but I have definitely been putting in the training so we'll see how it goes!

I love all your pictures from take-off of the water and the bay-bridge - it's such a neat structure.

Thanks! I love the Bay Bridge. I was excited that I had such a great view of it! Usually I have no idea what I am looking at while flying!

Yep, you are landing right as I am heading to the airport! Sometimes, depending on what flight I am on. For this one...I seem to recall it was a very late one but i'll double check when I do my update as my brain is a colander!

I know you got to Epcot around lunch time, but I really don't remember the details of the flight. Didn't you have to change planes that time?

Okay, I have to admit my brain was really in a bad place (and to the troublemakers like Kathy, Glenn, Rosie and Mark, not my head………) last night when I got your invite and joined in. I also have to admit I skimmed quickly planning to come back and read later. So, I guess that is why I was so surprised when I did a better job of reading today that I found out this wasn’t a PTR for your upcoming PHM trip, but actually a TR from your Mother’s Day Guuurllllzzzzzz trip! So, now that I’m not totally lost anymore, I’m all caught up and ready to comment.

Sorry for the confusion. You should know by now that I never do PTRs. I am so far behind on my actual TRs that I will have to be retired before I ever have time for a PTR. I admire people who can do them and do double TRs. I am just not that coordinated.

Wow you took a lot of “in flight” pictures, but an interesting perspective! Nice that you had the best side of the plane to get the Bay Bridge and the Florida coastline. I’m usually not that lucky.

I am never that lucky! It was the perfect day for pictures. I totally lucked out!

You sure kept getting higher on that flight. You sure it wasn’t just the plane that was gaining altitude?

I'm pretty sure! I don't like to drink on a plane because there's always that risk of a bio break. Not fun when you are in the window seat.

I love OKW! I could spend a part of every trip there. It's so lovely!

Alicia! Thanks so much for joining in! (Especially since you will be making a guest appearance in this TR).

I find is so cool that you take girl trips with fellow DISers. Really goes to show how great these boards can be. I know Dugette and I joke about throwing the kids at the husbands and running away to the WS while we're there at the same time.

I have truly met some of the nicest people here on the boards. It has really widened my geographical circle of friends. And what I like about meeting people on the boards is I think you really get to see a unique side of people when you are communicating by written words instead of speaking. It's really an intimate way to get to know people in a technologically advanced world. There is something really special about it.

It was fun looking at your photos of your trek to BWI. Alex is from MD, so it was fun seeing pictures of the part of the country he's most familiar with. Not to mention, those shots from the airplane were really cool! It's not very often I see the ground from that perspective.

I didn't know Alex is from Maryland. Cool. The Chesapeake Bay is really a cool area of the country. I'm glad I was able to get as many pictures as I did.

I'll admit, I don't know too much about OKW, so I'm looking forward to hearing about it. And potentially seeing early morning run pictures from around the resort.

I love OKW. It's such a special place. It's got a wonderful, relaxed vibe. The nice thing about our location

This is actually going to be really helpful, as I did a girls trip last June with another DIS-er (and our DDs) and we haven't done that TR yet (too darn many other trips between the two of us ).

Great photos, as always. That is quite the long bridge!

We have that same issue! I've had 2 trips since this one, neither of which have a TR yet as I am still working on the TR from before this girls trip. LOL!
