WE BOUGHT MORE POINTS!!!!!

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at Hilton Head and loved it sooooo much that we bought more points--by phone-- on Friday!!! Thank God our guide was there. Wanted HH, but none available in our use year, so we just added on at BCV--another 100 points!! Probably easier to manage all our points at one resort and in one use year . . . Oh, the places we will go . . . . !!!!

I know how you feel. I loved our stay at both HH and OKW that I am itching for more points. I'd like a small OKW add-on but I could do with a few points at BCV just as well. We'll see . . .

I spent nearly a year on these boards, smugly patting myself on the back for purchasing a good amount of points while others scrambled for add-on points. I found it difficult to believe that they had not planned well enough to have enough points at their disposal!!!


And then about a month ago we bought a resale that basically doubled our points!!


So much for smugness!

Oh, but watch out.....don't you have another upcoming HH trip? Will that additional 100 points be enough? You haven't tried HH during the summer yet!!

You are all so right. I am addicted, and I will never be content with the number of points we have!! However, the reality is that although on paper I have 4 weeks vacation, I cannot vacation more frequently than our current points allow--about 2 weeks, due to the demands of my job. So, if we had more points, we would be "forced" to get larger accomodations than we really need, just to use them. How sad! I just wish we lived further south so we could do some weekend trips without spending $850-1100 in airfare. Next to marrying my DH, DCV is the smartest, most pleasure-creating, satisfying, inspiring, . . . . (well, you get the idea!) decision I have ever made
