my mum wants to go back to Disneyland this Christmas, and we'd love to too, but there is no way we can afford it right now. But because there will be 7 of us, I decided ot book the Carousel Inn View room for our stay so we can all be in the same suite. I got a quote from the Grand Californian and it was for over $10000 :scared1: Carousel inn would be just over $3000. There would have to be a HUGE deal on for us to swap over :( I would so love to stay there again. Dh thinks we should go to GCH for 4 nights and spend the other six and the Carousel Inn.

maybe we should do 5 nights at Caurousel Inn, go to Legoland and spend 1 night in Carlsbad, then come back and finish our stay at the GCH. It really all depends on money though and if we can get a good deal on flights.

Gotta get some money together. Anyone rich enough out there to throw some my way :lmao: but seriously...........please send money now

OMG over $10000!!! I am in a similar qandry with WDW - I dearly wish to stay at Contemporary Resort but for 5 nights it is going to cost approx $2000. For the amount of time spent in the room it seems kind of excessive... I feel for you.

yeh but if you are going why not go in style ?

anyway perhaps contact the aussiedvc lady and perhaps she can get you a spot using dvc points (disney vacation club)

i know what they are but i really still have no understanding whatsoever how it all works

its worth enquiring about at the very least

anyone else know here name ?
ive been drinking and can barely type :lmao:

LOL Happy Fingers.
Well we found a better deal, AKL Club Level for $1800 including taxes - this was better than the $2200 for standard room at CR we thought.
Can't wait.

That's awesome. I'm glad you found somewhere with a good price :lovestruc

About the DVC points, I know what they are too with little understanding. I might look at it closer to the time. Last time we went DH got an awesome deal at the Grand Californina and it only cost $500 extra, but that was with just the two of us, this time we need beds for 7.

I've booked 11 nights.

Wow - 7 is quite a jump from two.

I hope you find something you like... and on second thoughts, $10000 is not that much considering the number of nights and guests in your party.

So I say treating yourself and family is awesome!
