Oh Crap!! They're Sealing our Road!!

I absolutely HATE it when the county does this!! They squirt on liquid tar, then cover it with stones. Takes weeks for it to be "packed down" enough so that stones don't fly up and strike your windshield.

They post a 35 mph speed limit but most people don't abide by it, they go flying down at 60 or better and stones fly everywhere. I had hoped they wouldn't do it until we were on vacation in August, but looks like "today's the day", oh joy joy *grumble*

Just so they don't use crap to seal it, you'll be fine. Tar is good, crap is not. Hang n there.

The state just did that here too! It's the main 2 lane highway I take to work was repaved in 1/2 mile intervals- inbetween the new pavement they sealed So now I have a nice rock chip in my windshield - thanks to the bozo in the SUV doing 60+ in a 35 mph zone...
