If I can, then I try to get it on Thanksgiving Day. If not, then a day or two after Thanksgiving.

DO you have a style for your Christmas tree? Do you break it for your kids?
We do a tree in Burgundy and Gold..along with old looking toysm snowbabies and glass things. It is such a pretty tree... well... this year Ethan is more into it and we just placed an order for 5 boxes of Disney Storybook ornaments.. These are going to be colorful and I love them but am so worried they are going to totally ruin the style of my tree and it will not look good. What do you guys do in this situation?![]()
I know, I need to not be so picky right??![]()
We have already said next year it will be all for Ethan so I kinda know this is my last year for a while to do a tree totally my style. Next year will be color lights, lots of colorful ornaments etc..![]()
The last year my tree had style was 1986! Since then it has been a collaboration of Santa Claus, Mary & Joseph, silver icicles (in clumps), nasty cherry candy canes, and various toys the kids stuff into the branches. The kids,19,12,&10,are totally in charge of the decorating now so eclectic is the word. But they love it and I know that sooner than i want, I will have my white lights & angels tree all to myself.
