The first Sat. in Dec. we go and cut down our tree, then on Sun. after church and lunch we decorate.....dd's birthday is on the 22 so waiting till after her birthday is not an option! we have always made her birthday a seperate celebration!I to love this thread and can't wait for Christmas!!!

our christmas tree usually goes up the weekend after thanksgiving. we usually do it that sunday night. this may chnage due to the fact that on my day off during the week i start to put up the outside deocrations, usually takes me a cuople of days to do this so f i finish early enough that sunday the tree goes up if not it gets done during the week.

We decorate the house the weekend after Thanksgiving. The decorations come down after new year's.
