I remember someone on here complaining that the Oh Canada 360 film was way outdated and an embarrassment. We just got back and I saw the film for the first time in a zillion years (okay not quite that long but at least 10).
I was prepared for the worst and then pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what part of Canada the other person was from but I pretty much saw "my" Canada up there on the screen. Aside from a few shots where people's outfits were outdated or if you're into skiing you may have noticed "old" style skis and no snowboards, nothing I saw was so outrageous to warrant an all out panic that Disney needs to spend another zillion $ to go update the film. Just one of those things where I went
no biggie.
I did hear some Americans making fun of Canadians with the "eh" and saying we say "I'm here on holideh". Truthfully I think it's more the British that say "we're on holiday". No? I say "I'm on vacation!" Anyway my DH proceeded to make fun of the Americans when he went into the UK to buy some tea. He asked if they still had the tea making seminar. When they lady replied yes he said "Good! Someone's gotta show these Americans how to make a decent cup of tea!" She giggled then said (politically) "yes, but they do know their coffee." He replied "I don't do coffee."
Poor guy had to wait till we got home for his tea. In a restaurant it's ok but out in counter service land a decent cup of tea is not easily attainable.
Me? I do coffee so I was good
