Oh, the giraffe section. The two little girls pulled up when we went to Festival couldn't make the sound and were so embarrassed! Really, they couldn't pick a bird or something that was slightly easier than 'warthog' or 'giraffe'?

That sandwich looks amazing! Though I think anything with that much cheese must be amazing. Unless it isn't actually cheese, and then I would be very disappointed!

You got the torch lighter! I love that one (despite being new mold which is apparently very important as I have learned after a cursory look at Vinylmation websites. 'Mold' doesn't even look like a real word any more!).

Wait, why would there only be seafood at the Rainforest Cafe? Like, it doesn't even make sense! It's in a rainforest, which by definition has other animals in there! And if they're buying meat/etc. for kids' meals, why not use it for the adult menu? Weird.

I just love your vinylmations. I really wasn't into them at first, but the kids started trading them in our last trip and now I love them. The Disney Store.com had a bunch of them on sale for $5 or so. A couple were even $1.99. So .... I got 12 of them, yeah I said it, twelve. We needed some inexpensive ones to trade. OK.. maybe I got a tad carried away ...maybe.

Fantastic pics. Are those all with your Iphone? Have you totally enjoyed talking to Siri with it? I have borrowed my friends' phones just to strike up conversations with her. She has some hilarious replies. I once told her "I love you Siri" and she told me I was "the wind beneath her wings." Fantastic.

And ps. since you were a fellow MMC worshipper, were you also an NSYNC fan? If so, gave you watched the Rachel vs. Guy celebrity cook-off show on the Food Network? With mr. Joey Fatone? Fantastic. Ok, I'll stop hijacking your TR now.

I was very happy with those vinylmation, even though I really didn't want the torch lighter, I wanted the Figment from that set. But I kept him, because I only trade when I REALLY don't like them.

OMG, you're eating Cadbury mini eggs?! Absolutely, hands down my favorite candy ever! I wait on pins and needles for any holidays, because they tend to release some version of them during that time.

I have come to the conclusion that people are just crazy, but that they make themselves crazier when they talk about things like they straight up know what they're saying. That's always so humorous to me. Say something with complete conviction, but you're wrong. So so wrong.

The pictures for this TR and my upcoming one are all taken with my iPhone (except for some random ones). I love it! I don't talk to Siri too often. However, I like asking her random questions like "what's the meaning of life". She said to me "to ponder questions like the one you just asked".

I was an NSync fan, although that was during the time when I was in absolute denial about being a fan of anything Pop because I was convinced that I was Goth and stuff (not kidding. No, I will not post pictures). I have not seen that show on the Food Network, but I may have to check it out.

I hadn't eaten at Restaurantosaurus since when it was a buffet back in the day. Then when we went in July, we ate there and were very happy with it.

I loved the White Rabbit. I really wanted the caterpillar, but the white rabbit was fine.

Going to DTD was a lot of fun alone. I didn't have to worry about losing my travel partner(s)!

Thanks, she is feeling better. She has about 4-6 weeks for recovery, but she's taking it one day at a time. She's in a brace that she's not a big fan of.

Wandering around AK is great! It's a close 2nd for me behind wandering around World Showcase.

I know, that's what I said when I saw that was the game that was on! I'm still bummed too, but not totally bummed out. I'm still happy about last year and figure that the Pack has several good years ahead of them.

It wasn't really a huge deal though, because on this trip there aren't many. Like at all. Because Chris is kind of a poop and doesn't like to pose for pics. Anywho, here's what I had up to this point.

So, I was alone alone alone on this day. I apologize for any lack of pictures, but this day was pretty boring, so I'll get through it quickly. I had to pick Chris up at the airport on this day, but his plane wasn't landing until about 10:30pm, so I had the whole day. So the first thing I did?

Sleep in sillies. That's what I wanted to do. I knew once Chris was here, two things would be out of the question. Sleeping in and the pool. So, those were two things that were definitely on my agenda.

I slept pretty late. Until 10am, which is cray cray for me at WDW. I don't sleep that late there unless I stayed out super late. It was nice though. I headed down to the food court at about 10:30am. I took the car because it's easier.

I got the steak, egg, and cheese quesadilla. It was super tasty.

If anyone stays at CBR, I highly recommend this breakfast. It's really good, very satisfying and filling. It's also a nice change from the normal breakfast items.

I finished up, filled my mug, and putzed around the store for a while. I headed back to the room after that. I wanted to go swimming, and I knew that I wanted to go around noon, which it almost was. The weather was nice. A little cold for some, but I'm a midwestern girl. 78 degrees was plenty warm for me.

I went to the quiet pool next to my building. I wanted to relax and the quiet pools are always best for this.

I was armed with my iPad, crosswords, and my phone. There wasn't anyone there with me when I arrived. A little later, a family with a little boy arrived shortly after I did. He was having a good ol' time just jumping in and out of the pool. He was so funny, because he kept whispering (you know, the kid whisper that everyone can hear), "is that girl looking at me?", before he would jump in the pool. I guess he thought I was watching his every move. His mom thought it was pretty funny.

They left shortly after that and I hopped in the pool. It was a little cold, but nice once I was submerged. This pool actually went up to 6 feet in depth. I wish more pools were that deep. I remember as a kid them going up to 10 feet. Now, you're lucky if you get 5 feet. I understand the safety concerns, but really? I'd like to actually swim sometimes, you know? Not just wade around.

I don't even know how long I relaxed by the pool, but it was a while. Don't worry, I know the sun and I have a hate hate relationship, and I was putting on sunscreen often enough.

When I was done with my pool time, I headed inside to take a shower. I took my time and got ready at my own pace. I was heading out to meet Megan at DTD later, but I wanted to run to the mall first. You know, retail therapy and all.

Before I left, I had a photoshoot with the Yeti though. Sadly, this was his only photoshoot, because Chris didn't quite understand my desire to photograph the Yeti.

This is what my hair should look like.

I headed out to the Florida Mall after that. I shopped around briefly and bought a new pair of Crocs, a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt (which you'll see later!), and two other tops. Overall I shopped at Crocs, Forever21, and Cotton On.

I left the mall at about 4:45pm. It had started drizzling a little and just as I was getting into the car, Megan texted that she was heading to DTD. I told her I was just leaving the Florida Mall. She told me it would likely take me some time due to traffic. However, it didn't take me long at all to get to DTD, only about 20 minutes. She was amazed that I made it that fast!

We met up at Earl of Sandwich and headed in. There was absolutely no line, which is totally unusual. But I'm not complaining. I ordered the tuna melt. Yummmmm.

Megan got the holiday sandwich. We were both very happy with our choices.

Megan's roommate was on her lunch break from her job at TrenD, so she headed over and met up with us. We all walked around for a while and she was very nice. It was a lot of fun just wandering around and chatting with them.

After Megan's roommate headed back to work, Megan and I browsed around World of Disney and then headed to Ghirardelli for some dessert. It was calling my name, I just couldn't resist. I got the peanut butter hot fudge sundae and Megan got a waffle cone with mint chocolate chip ice cream.

It was oh so yummy as you can imagine. We parted ways after that. I didn't want to hang around and spend money (hahahaha) and I had to head out to pick Chris up from the airport soon.

I headed back to the hotel and the towel animals had a photo shoot.

I headed out at 9:30pm to pick Chris up. All texts from Chris indicated the flight was on time. As I got in the car to start driving, my Mom texted me to tell me that Southwest website reported that the plane was actually landing early. Good thing I left early.

I got to the airport at about 9:55pm. I parked here...

So I didn't forget. LOL.

Just as I started heading in, Chris sent me a text that they had just landed. I headed into the terminal and only waited about 10 minutes before Chris arrived.

We went to the car right away and started heading back. Chris mentioned that he was pretty tired. I figured that would be the case. He had worked all day. For him, that requires getting up at about 4:30am. We made good time back to the hotel and got settled at about 10:40pm. Good timing. We went to bed shortly after that? Why do you ask? Because we had a boy wizard to visit the next day.
