OGT/VGT question

I realize you can't make changes once you have paid...but can you add another person to the reservation closer to sail date?
I have one person waiting on their employer to make a decision...and at the rate is it going it may take a while to get an answer.
Has anyone done this?

We booked VGT for Oct 20th Fantasy, late last Aug. for 3 adults and had a fourth added appx. two weeks later. I believe it depends on the size of the stateroom and the available space in the lifeboats for the stateroom.
