Oga's Changing?

Head's up - Oga's appears to have switched to dinner only - from 4pm on.

What’s the difference between lunch/dinner at Olga’s? Isn’t everything basically the same? We have reservations for both next weekend so am curious. We just picked based on times we wanted.

You are correct - not really a lunch or dinner place, drinks and a couple of snack tray choices. I read somewhere it was on the dining reservation system - and limited to 45 minutes each person - because of its crazy popularity and they needed to control the flow of customers.

Are they prepping (very) early for the Galactic Starcruiser passengers who also have to make their Oga’s reservations at 60 days? I imagine they have to guarantee them a spot, and I’m pretty sure their excursion to Batuu is in the mornings. I’m more likely to believe this is a glitch. If this isn’t a glitch or a temporary thing, hundreds of people are going to be shut out.

A glitch makes sense. I think this would have been announced.

I started typing the above earlier but never finished...however, I just went back to Oga's page on WDW website and I'm now seeing 9 a.m. to 3:55 for lunch and then 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. dinner through Jan 4. Earlier, I'd checked random dates through Jan 4 and it did say only dinner.

Not ideal in most cases, but often see available for party of 1 - such as currently 12/24 at 7:10pm - good for Star War's fans who want to see and experience the place and may not get back to Disney World for a long time.

Not a bad idea. I can try and get for 1 person and then modify. Or try to get two within 15 minutes of each other...

Turned out to be a temporary issue on the website - lunch was restored to the main page for the restaurant and to the reservation system.
