Oga's Cantina reservations just opened!

Just booked Oga's Cantina reservations for our Aug trip!! They just opened these reservations this morning so get on now!!
Thanks for posting that - i just booked for late August!

Do you know if it's still a two drink minimum? We had reservations for this past January but decided to cancel since we were traveling with our DD, DSIL and two DGC who are to young to drink. We will maybe try again this coming January.

Hope you enjoy your experience at the cantina. :tink:

Funny thing is at Ogas in Feb the waiter wanted to know if we wanted a 3rd round... Probably gets better tips this way youd imagine.

I'm not sure if they've changed their policy, but to clarify...

Oga's had a two drink MAXimum, not a two drink minimum.
unless one is still in college & practicing Olympic guzzling, 2 drinks in the 45 minute limit sounds reasonable.
and there are still other places if one feels the need to really hone those Olympian skills :faint:

Sorry to have to disagree with you but I was told it was a two drink minimum. This was for our Jan 2020 trip. We decided not to go because the grandchildren would have probably not been able to drink two beverages plus not the best place for kids and no guaranteed seating.

We were there in December and each of the two of us had one drink (nonalcoholic, btw). We were not required to order more.

I don't know what to tell you, MS told me it was a two drink minimum...maybe because it was around MLK day and the crowds were very high? :confused3

Perhaps that was it. Or perhaps the CM was wrong and meant "maximum" instead of "minimum." I hope someone else who was there around the same time will chime in with some info.

Was there in February with my son, we each had one alcoholic drink. We were not required to order another. Perhaps the person you spoke to just mixed it up. We wanted to experience Oga's but aren't at Disney to stand around a bar. That said our 2 drinks cost $40 with tip.

We went twice in March and ordered one drink each.

I highly recommend getting reservations after park closing. The place isn’t nearly as full so we were able to get a booth to ourselves and Galaxy’ Edge was completely empty when we left and we got lots of great pictures.

I've been to Oga's, and it's a lot of fun, but I wouldn't go there during the pandemic on a bet. Loud music that everyone is trying to talk over, indoors, masks off because they are drinking, and even with distancing it's hard to imagine it won't be at least moderately busy. Bars have been one of the worst places to be in terms of viral transmission.

However, I do think I will be listening to Una Duey Dee when I log off of DIS. Even sober, that's a hoot. 8-)

I recall possibly a past 45 minute limit. so the 2 drink max makes sense.

Ok I guess you all must be correct. I will concede that either I heard the cast member wrong or the cast member gave me the wrong information. We were going around 10-10:30 in the AM with young children. Based on what I "thought" I heard we decided it wasn't a good fit for us at that time. We didn't want to have to drink two drinks that early in the AM o_O (I know they have non-acholic choices) and yes it is pricey. Maybe DH & I will visit this coming January, God willing...

Have a magical day everyone. :)pixiedust:

Thanks for the tip! Just made a 7:55 reservation which will extend the time in the park since there are no fire works, etc!

Feb. 2020 .... seven adults around 3 pm week day...ordered 1 drink ..snacks and left....it was a cool experience....to see...very loud...we didnt wait for a booth just stood at a high table the took us too..

Has anyone been able to get a reservation for next week? Did they really disappear that quickly?
