I'm a many timer offsite visitor who is a fan of rope drop and of touringplans.com. I, though, as an offsite visitor in the past have always avoided visiting Disney parks when there are morning extra magic hours. This November, though, I am in Orlando for a very short period of time with my 21 year old son while DH is attending a conference at the Lowes Royal Pacifica hotel, and the only day that works for DS and me to visit a Disney park is Monday, Nov. 14th. Our favorite Disney park is the MK, so, of course, we are going there.
The park will be open from 9 to 9 for offsite visitors, and for onsite guests the park will be open from 8 to 9. Should I as touringplans.com normally recommends get to the MK at 8 to be one of the first offsite visitors in? Or is this just going to be adding insult to injury, seeing the many WDW onsite guest going in while we are waiting? Might I be better off just arriving at 9? What is your advice for us regarding arrival time? When would you plan to arrive in the unfortunate situation. (On an optimistic note, though, it is a moderate crowd day with the crowd calendar rating for the MK as a 5 out of 10 -- not too horrible at all and hey we are at the MK (how can you complain about that if you love Disney like we do.)
