Any dinner suggestions for steak and seafood restaurants that are near the Disney/Universal area? Any must-do ideas?

Any comments on these restaurants:

Barney's Steak & Seafood on E. Colonial, Orlando

Everglades on International Drive, Rosen Hotel

Kool's Open Pit & Grill, Kissimmee

TIA

I have not eaten at those locations. I tried a search on this site but couldn't get any info either. I hope someone will be able to give alittle insight for you. :goodvibes

We ate two weeks ago at the Bahama Breeze on the corner of 535 and Vineland. It was very good. There is also an Olive Garden on the corner of 535 and Palm Parkway. Both of these restaurants have been there for awhile (I know the OG has been there since 1988) and always seem to be very crowded. We've eaten at/or had take out from the OG and never had a complaint. On this particular trip we also drove over to Celebration and had dinner one night at the Celebration Town Tavern. Very extensive menu and very reasonable prices. We definitely will visit there again. Also would like to try Antonio's in Celebration......maybe next trip in January.

Haven't ate at any of the spots you mentioned.

If you head up Palm Parkway/TurkeyLake Road turn left on Sand Lake Road (or you can drive past the Crossroads and continue on Apopka -Vineland Road and make a right on SandLake There are some great dining spots to be found congregated in the same general area in the high 7,000 blocks. Bonefish Grill,Roy's, Seasons 52, Moonfish come to mind and we have had enjoyable meals there.(Haven't ate at Moonfish yet) There are numerous others in this general area. Enjoy your trip. pirate:

Key W Kools we have eaten there several times! They have great steaks. I have not gotten a lot of seafood there. Some friends of our got Calmarai (spelling??) and said it was awesome! Thier service has always been great!! They are not cheap but worth the price if you want a very nice dinner out!
I would reccommend Key W Kools, just plan on a bigger bill.

We also recently ate at Celebration Town Tavern. I highly recommend it. Especially if you like New England style food.

Kools is way overpriced in my opinion. You can get a much better steak for the same price at Charley's or Vito's and they have locations near Disney and Universal.

Seasons 52 is a great restaurant - very fresh, menu changes often, reasonably priced and great atmosphere - the website has the menu but it may change on certain items

Hue is an upscale "contemporary" restaurant that has gotten great reviews from the press but I haven't been able to find anyone who has eaten there

Good luck!

I love Roy's. I can't say enough good things about the food there. They have a really interesting menu and you can split up your entree to get half of one thing and half of another and they charge you one price.

Its a bit more expensive than some other restaurants, but well worth it.
