Offsite Resort Options-California

Here’s another vote for Candy Cane Inn. We had a split stay first offsite then onsite in 2012.

with so many hotels in the immediate vicinity, would you still stay at a disney hotel in the future?

we’ve been talking about a disneyland trip, but i haven’t been since i was a small kid. i am much more familiar with disney world. we always stay at a disney resort, but i know disneyland is so different!
I’d love to but the DL hotel prices are high, and there’s so many places a lot cheaper and walking distance At Wdw I always stay on site but for DL I stay a block away at The Anaheim Hotel.

Omg we loved Candy Cane Inn .. simple basic well priced easily walkable no crazy parking fees or resort fees and by far the best continental breakfast I have ever seen .. I’ll see if I can find pics

I may have brought the ham and cheese croissants to my room fridge for lunch they were amazing .. and who has cheese for breakfast .. it was lovely

Do they have any non carb items? All I see are bread and pastries.

yes they had a wide variety of fruits and cheeses And I think even some meats. It’s a free continental breakfast..usually the spread isn’t that big.. I took those pics solely for the kids that didn’t come with us. So I didn’t focus on those ..
