Offsite hotels running full capacity?

Hoping to come in September if we can leave Canada by then! I’ve noticed the hotel prices are super high. I know they need to make up from all the lost revenue. Are they running at full capacity? I’m hoping maybe rates may drop a bit. Places I’ve stayed for $99-129 are up around 199-279!
