I couldn't find this anywhere else, hope it is not a duplicate question!

Our first day in the parks is June 15, so I've think I've figured that our 30 day FP+ window will open on May 16. Will I be able to book for the entire week of will I have to do it day by day? I was thinking I would have to do it day by day, but then I saw something on here that made me get to thinking I might be able to book our 5 days all on May 16.

Thanks in advance!

It's the number of days that corresponds to the length of your tickets. With a five day ticket, you can book all five days.

We go May 28th and have 5 day passes staying offsite. I am having to do Fast Pass+ day by day.

Are you using the app or the website? Most report it is more efficient to use the website when booking the initial Fp+.

Do you already have a magic band or planning on purchasing a magic band when you arrive? If you have one already and linked your ticket to it then you can make your FP reservations for the length of the ticket you have linked.

I am staying offsite and have 5 day tickets, and I did have to book one day at a time, each 30 days out from the day I was actually going to use those FPs. That was using the website.

In a way, it sort of draws out the excitement of it. Looking on the bright side.

Thanks for the info, I will share with mesaboy. I guess it's the MagicBand that unlocks length of tickets for Fp+ for offsite guests. I use CM ticket media and have only been able to experience "day of" Fp+. :(

Must be. We don't have magic bands. This is what the Disney website says about it on the FP+ "learn more" page:

Buy your tickets before you arrive and you can choose your FastPass+ experiences up to 30 days in advance of each day of your theme park visit. When you buy tickets in advance and book a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of your stay. Disney Resort hotel Guests also receive a MagicBand to make their vacation more fun and convenient than ever before.

Bullet 15 of the FastPass+ Basic Information thread reads as follows:

All other guests can prebook FP+ attractions up to 30 days in advance, for the number of days on their linked ticket in MDE/MDX, and can use either the MDE/MDX app or website to do so.

I'm still not sure that's incorrect, but the behavior reported in this thread is different than those with onsite hotel stays. Like AP holders without onsite stays planned, I think this just means that up to X days of FPs can be booked up to 30 days in advance--it's just that all X days must be within the 30 days.

Unlike onsite stays, where the X days must be within 60 plus the number of days of the resort stay.

I don't think MagicBand versus regular ticket has anything to do with it, except that MBs are currently (and mostly) indicative of people who have onsite resort stays.

Did that make sense to anyone else, or is it just me? If it's just me, then my attempt at an explanation is not good enough.

:) I think if Bullet 15 were to read "30 days in advance of each day" then that may work best? The off-site guests will know to begin at their 30 day mark and to pre-book daily for the length of their tickets. Otherwise it would be "30 days in advance minus the length of your tickets will allow you to book for your complete stay." And then, their choices become slimmer especially if a lengthy stay is involved.
