Offsite and Rope Drop at MK?

My family is staying offsite at the staybridge suites LBV july 27-August 2. We are taking a 2 yo and want to do RD for our two days at the MK so we can get a much done as possible then head back to hotel after lunch for naps. How long is the whole process of parking, TTC and then actually getting to the MK entrance take? Any suggestions on what time we should leave the hotel to be there before RD? The hotel has a shuttle or we can drive if we need too. I am just wanting to make sure we have plenty of time to be there before RD. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!

We made rope drop at MK for all 3 park visits last year from offsite. We were staying at Windsor Hills. We were in the car slightly before 8am and made it through bag check with time to spare before the opening show each time.

We stayed offsite this past may. It was about a 10-15 minute drive from the resort to disney property. We aimed to leave around 7:45 each day and always had plenty of time before the parks opened. We probably could have left a little later each morning but I didn't want to take any chances.

We were able to get so much done in the morning. We usually had lunch then headed back to the resort from some pool and rest time and then headed back to the parks after dinner.

When we drive to MK we usually leave a few minute before eight. But, we are either onsite or at Bonnet Creek Resort. So I think leaving around 7:45 would be fine for you're first time. You can adjust your time if needed after you see how long it takes from where you are staying.
