Poor baby, maybe its just something different than when you had DISH, you may get it working right soon.

Good Morning Everyone :wave2:
Busy weekend here at our house. Baseball tryouts were canceled on Friday (tonight is make up day) so we ended up going to the new Walmart in town(it finally opened), I don't have to drive 30 mins to go to the nearest Walmart anymore :woohoo: We needed to get the last minute stuff for #1DS's school project (build a covered wagon) and get another Cars car for #2DS (using them as insentives to use the potty).
Sat. was work on project day.
Then Sunday I was woken up at 4am by #2DS crying so I put him back in his bed and turned his tv on, to which he started crying again cause a "stupid show" was on (gullah gullah island). Told him it was almost over and try to go back to sleep. Awoke around 5am to hear him crying again, but it soon stopped. Then 8am he woke me up crying again & I asked him what was wrong this time. He couldn't pull his sleeves down  So I had him come over to my bed and I noticed that he felt warm and clammy and then it hit me. The last time he acted like this he got sick. I was right, he got sick about 10 minutes later and then went back to sleep for about 3hrs. and then was back to his normal self.
So after that it was finish project and cleaning the house day (even made some cookies too).
I don't think I turned on the computer all weekend, except to talk to DH at night on the web cam w/ the kids.
Now it's time for me to catch up on everything on the DIS.

Wow Tink, sounds like you had a heck of a weekend. Glad DS didn't stay sick long. That's a shame when the little ones don't feel well. Poor baby.

Hopefully now you can catch up and hang out on the DIS.

I have never seen that show but it sounds like something I would really like. I will be looking that up on tivo right away!! Thanks :goodvibes

I watched that Newlyweds show last night on ABC, it was pretty funny. Have you watched it?

Hi MomMom :wave2: Sorry I missed you! I wasn't on too much this weekend. Did you have fun camping? Hope to talk to you soon :goodvibes

HI Betsy, yes I had a nice time camping and won $80 at the casino so I was happy!!! I missed you tonight, well so far, hope to chat with you later!:grouphug:

Okay, then that must be the problem. I will have to change them to night to NON Hd

Thanks

I am going to see if I can DVR them...without any conflicts:rotfl:

I only worked half day today.....DH needed my car to his headache dr...he does not like to drive his car far....

We have to leave in about 45 mins to get DS stitches out

Should be fun:laughing:

Stupid ER doctors not using glue. I hate that he had to go through that. :sad2:

Just my usual pop in to see if anyone is here. Hopefully I'll get to pop back in later. The time change has really messed with me. I feel lost. :rotfl2: Sometimes being lost is a good thing

Hi Smiley, the time change has me messed up too!

Hey Smiley :wave2: Are you still here? :)

I'm here and neither of you are. I'm going to go browse the other threads.

GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING!!

Sooo, is anyone starting to think about planting flowers?
I want to do a lot of container planting on the porches. I've been spending alot of time looking at magazines trying to decide on just how I want things to look. So if you have any ideas...please share them. :thumbsup2

Good Morning!

We are getting ready to go to a local chocolate factory for Easter candy. They have the cutest shop there and a homemade ice cream parlor attached :cool1: DD picked to have lunch at McDonald's first so that's the plan! By the way for those with kiddies, the next Happy Meal at McDonald's is Disney's Year of a Million Dreams with Princess/Pirate :woohoo: They could get rid of that Spiderwick any day now!!!

MomMom - Sorry I missed ya! Hopefully I will catch you tonight :goodvibes

Smiley - If I could see the break in winter here, I would love to start planting! I like to plant a lot of pots and sit them around too! They are just so pretty :flower3: Oh how I yearn to sit on my deck and let Eliza swim :faint: It cannot get here soon enough! One tip I did learn is that if you have a really big pot, you do not need to fill the entire thing with soil. Put an old plastic flower container in it upside down and then fill the soil in around it. It saves a ton of soil and the flowers do wonderful too! That might be something everyone already does but I just learned it

Hi Smiley, We don't plant anymore since we moved to Louisiana. The first two years we planted and we also had hanging baskets and it looked gorgeous and it gets so hot here that if you don't water every day they wither up and die. Well we go away almost every weekend so all our plants and flowers died. Now at least I know why no one has flowers in their yards here.

I bet yours will come up gorgeous though!!! Post pictures when they bloom!!!:thumbsup2

Good Morning Betsy, Mmmm a chocolate factory sounds good! I could do that!! You have a wonderful day planned with DD. I think that is great how you do so many things with her!

I will have to get myself a Happy Meal at McDonald's, I love to get the toys, will have to ask for a Toddler boy and put it in the toybox I am making up for DGS for Ft.Wilderness!!!!

I like your idea of saving soil! I wish I knew that back in PA when we used to plant, would have saved us a ton of soil!!! :cutie:

I sure hope ya'll have fun on your adventure today. It sounds sooo yummy!! We are diffenately on our way to spring. Pollen is everywhere. The weather is gorgous. Mid 60's and sunny. It is supposed to get into the low 70's by the weekend for a few days. Looks like our freezing weather is about gone. :goodvibes Betsy, thanks for the planting lesson. I hadn't thought of doing that. Sounds like a great idea. We have so much to do in the yard here. Hubby has been throwing out a ton of grass seed. That is starting to come up. We actually cut grass for the first time last week. We have alot of smallish oak trees that we are going to transplant. Hubby wants to line both sides of the drive with them. We also have a bunch of dogwoods in the woods that we are transplanting. I can't wait. I love working outside. We had pretty much completed the landscaping at the other house. Here we have a whole new canvas. :goodvibes

The one thing about the way the house is sitting on this property is it is perfect for pots and things on the porches. We were really careful about that because at the other house I couldn't put anything on the foront porch because of the heat. You had to water twice a day and then it was still a fight to keep things from burning. Just to much direct heat. With ya'll getting to go off every weekend I understand not worrying to much about plants. I wouldn't either. Not worth it. We really don't go off very often. and now with all we have to do here we really won't be going anywhere for a while. I'm just hoping for a quick trip to Disney the end of Nov. or first of Dec. I think I'm going to go ahead and book the trip and just see how it goes.

I hope you are having a great afternoon!!
