It's the one on his back of the Archangel Michael.
He got it before his first deployment. He was gonna get Archangel Gabriel on the other side before the 2nd deployment but money was alittle tight at the time.

Whew. I am back. Had to do the dinner/bath thing for everybody.

I'll post a pic of my tat one day, but my sister waxed my legs today, and the skin is still pretty yucky looking.

Sharky should DEF get that as a tat! I vote yes!!

No, I still haven't packed. I know, I know.. I'm gonna do it, I SWEAR!

Their homework is actually pretty hard, for me, at least. The come home talking about intersections and verticies, and I'm like "HUH"

I haven't done that crap in 15 years, ya'll!

Luckily, DH is good at math, so he can help if I get stuck. Now, on the other hand, I can conjugate verbs in my sleep!

Hey Betsy, good girl getting almost all of your packing done, unlike someone

most are somewhat small. he's got the kids & my initals on each calf (2 on each in a cross pattern), my name above his heart, acouple of designs on his upper arms (all covered by tshirts)& the Archangel Michael on his back.

DH has Ying Yang sing, his name on my top, my name on bottom, a tiny peace sign on his calf and GFID(God Forgives, I don't) on his wrist...that is in reference to what he does for a living...

BTW...Love your dh tatoo...very nice

I don't know how to freakin' PACK!!!

SO I am sitting here, with 5 suitcases of varying sizes before me.
WHat seems like every piece of clothing we own on the bed. Every kind of toiletry known to man, and woman for that matter!

WHat in the world do I do with all this crap?!? We've never BEEN on vacation... how much do we really need? 7 nights... so that's 8 days... 4 pairs of pants for each person?? 8 shirts? 5 shirts? 2 pairs of PJs or 4?? How many night gowns? Is it a pain in the butt to wash clothes?? Should I take my own shampoo? And I can't figure out what to do with the stupid Lithium batteries. Do they have to go in your carryon or your checked bags?

DH has my name on his chest, over his heart. But he has his ex wife's name on his two upper arms along with the kids names, their wedding date and some big crosses. They are nice if it wasn't for her name, ha ha, but I'm just not a tatoo person for girls, don't know why, both his daughter's have small tatoos.

Hi Everyone else too Hope you all are doing well!

Hi Betsy!!!! Work was pretty good today. First I had a lot to do in the morning, then they were real late getting these little Thrifty NIckel papers out (all classfied ads) and they had to get 2 hours north last night and of course since they were still printing them, they didn't get them, so, they asked one girl to go back and help them feed paper into the press, they asked me to drive them up when they were done. I said fine, I'll get mileage and I like being out of the office. So it was set, I was going to drive t hem. Well that was before I found out there were tornado watches and heavy winds and rains coming. Nice huh? 2 years ago we had a bad tornado and it really did a lot of damage in a town called Olla. It destroyed their high school. They just finished it last week and were supposed to move into the new high school today and couldn't do to the heavy rains and wins and possible tornado and guess where they were sending me? Yep you guessed it, Olla!

I left and it was raining but not that bad. No sooner did I cross into that Parish the rains just poured down on me so hard I could barely see. But I got there safely, dropped the 500 papers off and then managed to get all the way back.

I don't know how to freakin' PACK!!!

SO I am sitting here, with 5 suitcases of varying sizes before me.
WHat seems like every piece of clothing we own on the bed. Every kind of toiletry known to man, and woman for that matter!

WHat in the world do I do with all this crap?!? We've never BEEN on vacation... how much do we really need? 7 nights... so that's 8 days... 4 pairs of pants for each person?? 8 shirts? 5 shirts? 2 pairs of PJs or 4?? How many night gowns? Is it a pain in the butt to wash clothes?? Should I take my own shampoo? And I can't figure out what to do with the stupid Lithium batteries. Do they have to go in your carryon or your checked bags?

Ok Mickie, calm down. First you need to divvy the clothing up. Put a few outfits in each suitcase for each of you. Do that in each suitcase as if you have one of your bags get lost for a day or two, you will all have clothes. Same with underwear and toiletries. Put all your toiletries in ziploc bags so they don't leak on your clothes, sometimes due to the pressure in the hold, tubes of things will explode, if they are in ziploc bags it won't do a thing to your clothes.
Now in regards to your toiletries, if you are taking carry on bags and you intend to take any of your toiletries, they can not be over 3 oz. each and the total number of 3 oz. bottles, tubes, jars, etc. have to all fit in one (1) quart ziploc bag and have to be in that ziploc bag. When you get to the airport to go thru security, make sure you take that ziploc bag out and put it int he container there for your shoes, toiletries, etc. Make it easier on yoruself, have no money in your pocket, have it all in your purse, same with your cell phone, have that in your purse as your purse goes down the conveyor belt and they will scan it, take cameras and film (if you have any) and batteries in your carrry on, do not put them in the checked luggage. The equipment they use to scan the big checked bags is much more powerful than the equipment used to scan your personal carry on items. Some security people will also question your mascara and lipstick so also put them in that same ziploc bag. If you are taking a lap top or the kids are taking headsets, have all that in a separate bin for them to look at. Laptops have to be out of their cases so they can check them.

I am the wrong person to ask! I have so much stuff to take and I have a freaking washer and dryer in the room! I'm always worried I'll need something that I didn't bring so just bring it all DH gets a bit peeved by that but if I'm packing then that's how it goes

I'm taking 2 pair jeans/2 pair capris/2 pair shorts.
3 Long sleeved shirts
8 tshirts
2 sets of PJ's
1 hooded sweatshirt
1 fleece jacket
I do take my own shampoo/conditioner because my hair is weird and I need my own.

I think you can put your batteries either place.

I talked to my FIL who has been camping in Orlando for the month of January and he said that it has been very warm and we may need a jacket in the evening but it isn't getting very cold.

I don't think you should deliver. Make sure to tell that person you do not want to. I think it's unsafe.

Oh my gosh! That is crazy. I'm so glad that you are ok. I would have been scared to drive near that type of weather. I know what you mean about getting out though. When I worked if something needed to be done outside my office, I loved getting out for a while.

DS would wear two shirts a day..we went during summery though, and ds sweats a lot, so he liked changing his shirts daily
