Officially Official Thread part 2

I am the wrong person to ask! I have so much stuff to take and I have a freaking washer and dryer in the room! I'm always worried I'll need something that I didn't bring so just bring it all :rotfl2: DH gets a bit peeved by that but if I'm packing then that's how it goes :thumbsup2

I'm taking 2 pair jeans/2 pair capris/2 pair shorts.
3 Long sleeved shirts
8 tshirts
2 sets of PJ's
1 hooded sweatshirt
1 fleece jacket
I do take my own shampoo/conditioner because my hair is weird and I need my own.

I think you can put your batteries either place.

I talked to my FIL who has been camping in Orlando for the month of January and he said that it has been very warm and we may need a jacket in the evening but it isn't getting very cold.

I don't think you should deliver. Make sure to tell that person you do not want to. I think it's unsafe.

Oh my gosh! That is crazy. I'm so glad that you are ok. I would have been scared to drive near that type of weather. I know what you mean about getting out though. When I worked if something needed to be done outside my office, I loved getting out for a while.

I'm glad that it turned out ok :goodvibes

Man...I was really hoping for a good story!

You're right, what is the world coming to :confused3

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How is Penny by the way?

Betsy, your packing sounds perfect to me but then as we talked about last night, I'm an overpacker too, lol. I usually have double or trip the amount of tops than pants. YOu can get away with wearing the same pants two days out of the week but not tops, those you sometimes need to change twice during the course of the day and night. That's great you have a washer dryer in your room, wow, that will really big a big help. If nothing else you can wash before you go home so you aren't in a rush when you get home to do laundry.

Steph I agree with Betsy, you do NOT want to deliver, these days I would not want to see you doing that. It's just not safe anymore. You don't know who you are delivering to.

Yes that was crazy driving there in that kind of weather but luckily it turned out okay. I enjoyed being out. I was out from about 10:15 A.M. until about 1 P.M.so a good part of my day was done.I don't mind doing that normally, it was the weather. I always volunteer to be he one to go on an errand. I get $26.68 for today's errand and I didn't use that much in gas.

I too was disappointed when Sharky didn't have a good story from last night. Sharky tell Penny hello and tell her we miss her!!!:grouphug:

Well ladies, I need to get some much needed beauty sleep, lol. You all take care, have sweet dreams and will talk to ya'll tomorrow night. Those of you leaving, have a wonderful time and take tons of photos and we'll all miss you here but will be waiting to hear all about your trip when you get back!!!!

Goodnight and sweet dreams!!!! :cloud9: :grouphug:

I'm the same with you about tops. I like to wear a Disney top to the parks each day and then I like to wear a nicer top when we got out to dinner at night. Plus, I tend to get tired of wearing the same shirt all day long  On the last trip I washed everything before we left to come home and that was nice. Put the laundry in and went to the MK, came home and put it in the dryer and then went back to the parks!

That sounds like good money to run an errand! I would always volunteer too!

Nite MomMom :cloud9:

I'll be around until Sunday so hopefully we will talk before then. Or are you going away? If so, I'll be in touch :goodvibes

See Ya!

Well, I think I'm heading off to bed. I hate to say it but I feel a headache coming on and that is the last darn thing I need.

Hope you all have a great evening and see you tomorrow :cloud9:

Ooooh, somehow I missed that you had a hottie on CSI

Who is your hottie?

George Eads- he plays Nick Stokes

DH thinks I just watch the show all the time cause I like it. Well that's part of the reason:rolleyes1

Nite Betsy and Mom

Penny is well by the way, just has been busy with running her mom around a lot since her fall:goodvibes

Good morning everyone! Well, I didn't finish packing last night, but I did make a serious dent. :goodvibes Just have to paw through all of the non-clothing items (toiletries, meds, etc) and decide what we REALLY need, and pack my carry on and "in the park" backpack, and we're set. :lovestruc

Guess what? I woke up with a fever this morning. yea.:thumbsup2

DH felt awful, too, but he went on to work after I gave him some DayQuil. I feel like crap.. I hope I am better for tomorrow. I just took the kids to school, so I am going to try and rest a little before I have to go with my sister at 12:30 to get her wedding gown fitted. <yawn> I am tired and achy yuk.

I hope ya'll have a great day today!

Ya'll, I am so darn MAD! Why in the heck do I have to get sick right now?!?!? It makes me want to CRY!! My fever is 101.4, and I feel like stepped on dog poop. I know I need to be in bed, but I just HAVE to vent a little bit. I was supposed to go get my hair done this morning, I already cancelled. I was all excited, I was going to get it highlighted, I've never had ANY color or anything on my hair.

I guess I am just having a stupid pity party. I took 4 Advil and some DayQuil about 20 minutes ago, I hope it kicks in soon.

Just spilled coffee on my keyboard.. :rotfl2: is it gonna be one of those days??

Just talked to my sister, the herbalist. She tried to talk me out of going today, but I am determined! I am the matron of honor, and it's important to me to be there for her, take pictures of this fitting, etc.. I will be the only one there besides her. She is going to bring me some homeopathic medicine to take, that she SWEARS will knock it out in no time flat.

I swear, her natural medicines almost ALWAYS work. ANd I am the most non-natural non-tree hugger type person. The only thing is that you have to take so many pills, like, 4 or 5, 3 or 4 times a day. But, if it gets me better for my dream trip, I'll do it.

Okay, BREATHE, I feel better since I talked to her. I was just so darn FRUSTRATED... after 6 months of planning and waiting, and being SO excited, we're gonna get SICK?!?!? EVen Ashe was complaining this morning that he didn't feel good. Ugh. Oh well. Ya'll please send me lots of pixiedust, ok?? I'm sure we'll be all better in no time, I just needed to vent!

Jiminy Cricket... why do you all have to be gainfully employed?!?!?

Don't you know I want someone to TALK to!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey, guess what?? I got my mixer fixed! :woohoo:

I am feeling better, although I know it is a DayQuil enduced illusion :lmao:

Mickie - I am here you poor girl  I have been doubling the Airborne for the past few days because I have such a fear of getting sick. I took DD in September and she got really sick right before we left but was pretty good by the time we got there. Then, when we went in October I got one of the worst colds I have ever had the week before the trip. I was still blowing my nose about 20 times a day the first few days but it finally cleared up.

I feel for you, I really do!

I took DD to lunch yesterday and there was an older man hacking away. I heard him say he was up all night with his cold :scared1: THEN....he came walking over and was going to pat DD on the head  Luckily his wife said not to and he didn't. What the heck is wrong with people??? I'm about ready to sequester myself for a whole week before every trip to avoid this crap.

I sure hope your home remedy works! Let me know if it does, I might need it sometime! Try not to run yourself down today...you don't want to feel worse once you are there.

Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Sorry about the hair. At least you can get it done once you are back, right!

Thanks Betsy!

I am feeling ok... after that DayQuil kicked in, I couldn't sleep, so I have just been taking it easy, reading and playing on the DIS :goodvibes

I did do web check-in for our flight tomorrow, so now we don't have to be at the airport until 5:15 AM! :rotfl:

I can't believe that guy was gonna touch your DD head. :scared1: That kind of stuff weirds me out a little, even when they're NOT sick! :scared:

Thanks for the hug!

Hey cool, guys.. I just checked in for our flight online! Printed our boarding passes, so all we have to do it give the skycap our bags and go straight to security. I was even able to choose our seats! :thumbsup2 Very nifty!

Well, I'm off to my sister's fitting.. I'm excited! It tooks us like, 4 months to find the right dress. Now it's been altered and I can't wait to see her in it!! :cutie:

It's 4 PM now, and I just re-read these posts. I didn't even REALIZE I told you guys twice that I did web check in, and those 2 posts were like, 8 min apart. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Don't ya LOVE the side effects of cold meds?? Apparently they make you STUPID!! :lmao:

Hey guys... do you know if gel cap medications can pop from the pressure in the cargo hold? I want to put as much in my checked baggage as possible, to make my life easier while going through security, and to save space in my carry on. Thanks!

My sister looked so beautiful, ya'll! :lovestruc I took some pics, I'll try to post one in a lil bit.

FYI.. I am feeling okay. My fever spikes back up every time the Advil wears off, tho. Oh well! I don't care HOW sick I am, my butt is going to have FUN at WDW if it kills me! :rotfl:

hee hee, ya'll are gonna get home, sign on the DIS, and be faced with a whole day of me complaining!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm sorry, guys!!!! :lmao:
