I love your wording. I will use that the next time I need to describe prices!
Well to be honest with you, off the internet I used a different phrase after I said the word holy...but its a family site!

I love your wording. I will use that the next time I need to describe prices!
OK, got my reservations. My inital request of 5:30 was not available so they offered me 4:30 or 6:50. 4:30 was too early, but 6:50 is very close to show time and I read all the recommendations about lining up early.
I chose the 6:50 and asked if I could get tickets for the second show and their response was (copied from their response) "July 1st is a Sunday and most likely there will be 2 shows for World of Color. All dining before 7:00pm would obtain Fast passes for the 1st show at 9:00pm. Carthay Circle only seats until 8:00pm so you would need to check with the host/hostess as to whether or not you could obtain second show fast passes."
Just passing along the info...
Super excited!

So...does it mean that if I want to see the 2nd WOC show I have to get a reservation at 7:05 pm? I can only get 1st WOC show at lunch or dinner before 7:00 pm. If I want to see the 2nd WOC, lunch can't be an option for me, right??![]()
I'm sure they will always try and make concessions for people whenever they can. Disney tries it best to acommodate people when it can, but it will probably just depends on the circumstances of the day you are there and if they can or cant.
I think generally that will probably be the order of how its done to keep the tickets as balanced as possible for each show. Does WCT only have WOC packages for dinner shows? I think they only do, but not sure obviously.
The REAL question will be when it goes back to the fall and there is only one show per day? I guess they will just divide the tickets up for both shifts.
Your best bet is probably just to call them and ask them directly. I doubt anyone here truly knows, but my guess is that will be the general rule.
With that said I do think the areas will be different for reasons stated above in earlier posts , obviously nothing is confirmed yet but it would make sense.
you will receive fast passes for the Center Stage Area of the Paradise Pier viewing platform. It is all one area and the only difference would be the time of the show based on your dining reservation. The blog was addressing dining packages at the new Carthay Circle Restaurant. They do not have a pre-fixed menu as Wine Country Trattoria does. All dining however, will receive fast passes for the same area of the platform.
Not according the email I got from dine@disneyland.com when I asked if there was any difference between the viewing areas:

Well thats a possibility but that would be really dirty lol. I cant think of one place I ever paid that much for a burger, especially at a Disney park, but you never know!
If I'm paying $20 for a burger that I can pay half everywhere else in the resort, that better be ONE good burger!![]()
On another thread here, someone posted that an image of the dinner menu from Carthay Circle restaurant has been posted on MouseWait. The picture cuts off right through the last line of the burger description so it's hard to see, but it really looks to me like the burger is $22 if the menu photo is to be believed. Not surprised. Disappointed a little maybe, but not surprised.
LOL, holy crap! $22 for a burger and fries? I'm practically speechless! I thought ok, $15 is a bit more, but reasonable considering the environment. Then I convinced myself if it go to $18, it would be reaching, but still manageable. But to hear its now that ridiculous is absurd! I will be curious to see how many people will be paying this price for a burger when they can litterally get it half the price practically most places at the resort which will probably taste exactly the same like the others. That better be one decked out, delicious juices flowing burger! In N Out is one of the best burgers out there and I think the most expensive one is $3.75 lol. But I guess you order one in a swanky place you gotta expect to pay the extra coin for it.
Well, first of all, this is not going to be the same burger you get at a counter service restaurant. This will be fine dining burger, which is completely different. I am confident that Chef Sutton's burgers will be light years ahead of the ones at Hungry Bear.
Secondly, these prices do not seem way out of line. Maybe because I live in California, but fine dining means $30-50 a plate minimum. Now, it remains to be seen if CCT will really be a fine dining place with the service to match. But if it is, it will certainly fill a much needed niche in the parks. People are forking out $30-$40 an entree at the Blue Bayou, which is not fine dining at the least. If I can get a real gourmet experience at CCT, it will seem like a bargain compared to BB. It will also be nice to have a spot for a nice dinner that will be a little nicer to my wallet than Napa Rose. I love Napa Rose, but we always end up spending $150 pp when we dine there. It looks like I might be able to spend less than that at CCT and still have an enjoyable meal.

Of course, I get all of that, but the most expensive burger anywhere in the resort is about $15! Thats reasonable for a burger even in a high class restaurant. My main point is you can find burgers EVERYWHERE at a fraction of the cost. You cant find a Monte Cristo in many places in the resort and I understand why its more valued at BB and they can charge more! BTW, I ate BB once, to this day I dont get the interest with that place? I know most people go because the atmosphere is cool, but you're right its not gourmet food...you're just paying for one! I might try it again one day, but no, was not impressed!
Again, I plan to eat at CCT, I have reservations first day of opening, but no, I wont be paying $22 for a burger lol. I'm more than sure it will good, but the best burgers I had cost under $10! THATS why burgers are so great because the best ones on the planet doesnt need to cost $30 unlike a steak or a lobster for example. So if I'm going to dish out the money, I'm going to dish it out for food I cant find nearly every place else and that I can normally find at a fraction of the price!
That said though, if I hear REALLY great things about it, then I might be tempted to try it on my second visit there which will actually be the following week! But I'm good with Hungrey Bear!
