I ordered through the ticket store and had them sent to my house. I believe there was a small shipping fee. The tickets have a number on the back that I entered into MDE and they linked with minimal problems.

When I looked at the ticket store, it seemed the 3.50 was for shipping OR for Will Call.

I can't fully speak to the rest of your questions, but yes, the runDisney ticket prices can be a pretty sizeable discount as compared with regular ticket prices and most of the third-party discount tickets out there.

Other than that, some of my other family members purchased them for Expedition Everest this past year and picked them up at the expo to avoid the shipping fee. After that my stepmom was able to link them to MDE but I wasn't any part of that process.

I did a little spreadsheet, and it seems that a 6 day hopper ends up less than a 3 day base ticket through UCT? Crazy. 6 day ticket would be weird for our trip, as it IS 6 days with two of those days being just a few hours of park time on either end, but...on the other hand...it's almost worth it.

You park at WWoS until the Expo closes, which if I recall correctly is after the Kids' Races.

I had been waiting for the AP room discounts. Now the CM said I couldn't apply the discount to my room. I'm just venting here. Anyone have this same response? I've never had a problem before.

At almost 100 days out, I am getting antsy and want to know more info, specifically about the Post-race party at Epcot:

1. Does anyone know about which attractions will be open? I can guess that the Future World headliners will be (Soarin', TT, Mission:Space, SSE), and the World Showcase rides (Gran Fiesta Tour, Maelstrom [if it is still running in Nov]), but how about the WS films (O Canada, Impressions de France, etc.)? American Adventure? Captain EO?

2. Besides the F&W kiosks, are there any restaurants open during the post-race party? I am most concerned with Liberty Inn because they have kosher food available. If that is open, I'll be a happy guy.

Apparently a computer model of a medal looks different than the real thing. Remember when disneyparks blog released the Half medal in April?

I actually like the Spaceship Earth (really want to call it a golfball, restraining myself) side better, but apparently I fixated on the April release and am having a little difficulty letting go of that.

I'm a bit more partial to the more purple looking color for the medal, but the darker color may look better in person, too. And really, we'll probably hang the medal with the Spaceship Earth side facing out which might brighten it up a bit. I do really like the lanyard with what looks to be the countries of World Showcase represented on it!

Yes! I am so happy to be joining this thread. I lucked out finding a TA that had two bibs left and I just got off the phone paying for them so my sister and I are in! I'm a little nervous about doing this and then Avengers the following week, but so SO excited I found some bibs for this!

I think it is nice. I do like the Spaceship Earth side the best.

For some reason I never like the Food and Wine artwork designs. I love the Food and Wine festival but not the merchandise (T-shirts,etc. I never like the artwork with the chef).

That is actually a good thing because there is less that I want to buy.

We're doing the coast to coast thing with the Wine and Dine and then the Avengers the following Sunday as well! It will be fun! Now just to finish!

Good questions! Bumping you up because I don't remember/know the answers to these questions, either.

I can tentatively half-answer this...ish...sort of...maybe.

Can you tell I am not 100% confident in my answers?!

1. I am pretty sure you are right that TT, M:S and SSE are open. I know for sure Soarin' was open last year and a friend of mine that did the race in 2011 has pictures in the Character Spot and The Seas. They may have changed things since then though. I'm not sure about the attractions in World Showcase.

2. I believe I have heard that the restaurants and stores in WS are CLOSED during the after party. I remember being very surprised when I heard that - wouldn't they want the opportunity to make more money with all of those people there? It must come down to how much it costs to staff the WS for that long...which makes me wonder about the WS attractions you asked about in (1) above.

Anyone else that has better info, please feel free to correct me!

Last day to update Proof of Time is tomorrow. Go to the site and double check that you are all set. They are using a new process so go to Wine and Dine on RunDisney site. Click runner information and Proof of Time. Click the link to update. Once you find your name, click update. Make sure all your information is listed and add the link to your race results. We emailed TrackShack to get the scoop and this will be the new method to better verify times and ensure proper Corral placement.

Question relating to proof of time that I hope you guys can help with: If I have submitted proof of time via email already, and received a confirmation email from rundisney, do I still need to update the proof of time on the trackshack site? I did check and it shows my updated finish time, but still says "unverified." Do I need to update again (even though it is the same) to have it verified, or is that something that comes from rundisney later? Thanks!

I think I read that they will start verifying times after today, so I don't think ANYONE has a verified time yet. :

I just verified that my husband is in the system and they have the proof of time. I can't find me. I have the confirmation emails. When I search myself, they say they can't find me in the system. I sent an email just now to disney. Anything else I should do?

Never mind. I typed by birthday wrong in the registration. I am off by one day. That's what I get for trying to register multiple people at once.
