PoT... there's no way rD or TrackShack is checking
every PoT. No way. But I think they do spot-check, so...
1. if you enter an estimated finish less than 2:45:00, you need to include PoT and it's probably a really good idea to use a PoT as close to that expected finish time as possible. But I'd guess it's more important to just have
something in there. (I can see using an algorithm that searches for <2:45:00 estimated finish but nothing entered in PoT and sorts all of those into the pile for back corrals.)
2. if you enter an estimated finish over 2:45:00, and you have a PoT to back up whatever time you enter, include it and grab a screen shot of it all: the estimated finish time you selected and PoT. If nothing else, if you get placed in a totally wrong corral, you'll have
something to show Runner Relations at the expo.
3. I think some will fudge it and enter 2:45:00 when they know their pace is more like a 3:30:00 finish, but I truly think it's a small number that does that and most will enter honestly, which will spread things out.
That's my best guess on things until we see a race under the new system and see how it all pans out. Alas, the DLH will be the first and its systems never really parallel WDW's, anyway, so... yeah. W&D will be the first test. Bummer.
