Okay I looked it up. This is from a review of the Classic Controller on Amazon. I can't vouch for the accuracy, but I think it's right:
So your 'friend'should consider buying a Game Cube controller instead of the Classic. I've seen some Wavebirds (wireless) for sale at used games stores. You'll pay more for it, but it is wireless (unlike the classic) and you get the real feel of what the game was supposed to be like on the GC.
I'll have DH confirm this later.
I've seen it on sale for that price, but the regular price is $29.99 and at this time of the year, I doubt you'll see it cheaper. But keep on eye on the ads. If you need to try and use regular batteries for a while you can, but you'll probably spend at least the extra $10 on them while you wait for a sale.
I know you've probably been over this before but.... If we use rechargeable batteries (just until I find a nyko charger on sale--I just hate to pay full price!
!), how long can we expect them to work per charge? Also, what size battery does it take? I have put my wii away and can't check because I am out of town now (I am at my mom's--she has had back surgery
and I have to stay here with her until she is better, don't think I'll have time for more shopping once I get home).
