i remember 2 years ago on last trip we were told you could get the official wdw "postage stamp" not the sticky type, but the mailing type) from only one place in wdw.
as im sending a few fairy godmother postcards, i would v much like them to be nice, iykwim, could anyone tell me where to send the cards from?
thanks
tracy
ps yes, i have forgotten lol

It used to be available at the stationery type shop with the scrapbooking stuff, if you know where I mean? I tried to get it in October, and was told that they don't do it anymore, as half of the shop is now the design a t-shirt place.

I think I read something about being able to get a different type of Disney frank mark, if you take them to the city hall places in each park.:confused3

Somebody will probably come along soon and give you useful information.;)

I don't know about any stamp, but there is a post box just on the left hand side of the main entrance by the shop on the way into MK. If you pop the letters in there, it will be frankmarked by Disney before being sent to wherever. Don't know if that's of any help to you?

i thought it was true in the past, but they don't do it anymore..

that the stamp is from lake buena vista or something like that but not WDW...

but i could well be wrong (wouldn't be the first time :) )

hi,
not sure if they still do it, but in Downtown Disney, there is a shop that sells pictures and sketches (around rainforest cafe area) that puts a WDW frank on the postcard, you can buy your postcards there, and they will even lend you a pen to write them out, plus they put the correct postage on for you. they also ask where your from and mark it on the wall to see how many guests from around the world have posted that day.

giggler:rotfl2:

We sent ourselves postcards last year (don't laugh - we need a means to survive the withdrawal on our return :rolleyes1). I was hoping for a Disney postmark, but no such thing. They just had the regular US Mail stamp on. :sad2:

I am sure if you asked when you got there someone would be able to tell you. At least then you know for sure.
