Thanks Mamita and Coach. So a few follow up questions. I do not monitor my heart rate so is there another way to measure intensity. It's been 2 weeks, not sure if I can go by memory

I tried the elliptical for 30 minutes yesterday. It was an odd feeling. When I mentioned cycling, I meant the old school version of getting on my bike and going for a ride. I ride my bike to work (about 3 miles each way, not long) twice a week but haven't since I sprained my ankle. I was thinking of upping the distance/time/intensity. Usually I ride at a leisurely pace since I don't want to get too sweaty before work. Would that be okay? I was thinking of going for a longer bike ride tomorrow.
My training team did their 20 miler today in beautiful weather. I'm happy for them but feeling a little sorry for myself. They are so much closer to the goal. I hope I can make it!
