Coach posted a link to the race program (pg 38) It doesn't list each corral's start, just the general start at 5:35. Last year, it looked like this.

I would bet a MCFLURRY that the full times will equal the half wave times once the final instruction come out. With MK coming at mile 5 and not 10 this year, they have a little extra time to get the last runner through MK prior to opening
So if you actually do have Runner's Knee your bro's gf is on the right track. 
I also asked about running in a knee brace and he said if anything, just a sleeve with a hole for the knee but he said that it could either help me or hurt me. Since there's a chance of it not helping, I decided not to get one for the race tomorrow. I'll see how I feel during the race. It's been quite a while since I've been scared to run 3 miles!!!
