Hrm, I didn't see anything about a jacket in the signup? There was just the tshirt and then the pin and necklace on mine.

The jacket is under "registration" then under commemorative items--then after the pins, the performance jacket is listed. Hope this helps.

I'm just happy to be able to pre-order. Lets just hope it's a cute one like this years.

How did you win a trip?? Good for you !!! Love the sharpie idea for the ears. They used to have a "my first ears" or something like that. Lots of "first". I'll keep my eyes open for you when we head down. Then there is always the 800 # to purchase things.

I know right!!! KBAY was having a contest where they would call a name in the morning for the week and you had 30 min to call back; if not it would keep extending. Nobody ever called back and I kept joking that they were giving my trip away and then one morning they called my name. We got 3 nights at 1 of the hotels and 4 1day park tix. I tried for Avengers, but it was gone so we got SW instead, which will be a nice treat after Dopey. I'll have my AP by then, so I'm hoping that we can hold onto 1 of the tix for my sister to use for Tink and save her some $.

I'll have to keep my eyes out for the 1st ears.

Add me in for the 5k too. Mom decided that she wants to do it Mothers Day. So I went in and registered the two of us for it.

ETA: Still no sell out for Pixie Dust. I called it back last year when they moved weekends. It will sell out but ain't going to be fast. This is a crappy weekend to move to. You not only have Mother's Day, but you have school events, and EEC is right before this to so that doesn't help out (I have a friend who all ready is having to skip this because she can't miss two weekends for races).

I wasn't sure on the pin, necklace, jacket, etc. Are there pictures of them anywhere?

Unfortunately we probably wont see photos before the Expo. The pins are usually mini replicas of the medals/logos though, for what it's worth.

I'm totally surprised the challenge hadn't sold out yet, especially considering how fast the AP/DVC spots went last week. I guess the move to Mother's Day weekend really did have a big impact on the registration numbers. Hopefully this means everyone that wanted to get in and was online when registration opened secured a spot, which is more than what normally happens for a Disney race.

I figured it would be slow but I don't think I anticipated this slow. Wish i could be like this for all the race weekends, that's for sure!

Going through my head mentally of all the ears we carry I don't believe we [still] have a pair that says "my first ears". I know we do have infant and toddler size ears, but they are very very basic - and then you can get the "my first ears" embroidered on the back for $3 or $7 depending on font. I could be wrong though. I don't work our main hat locations any longer, my stores have a much smaller selection.

I'll be running the half and 5k with DH.... It will be our first Tink! That half has been on my bucket list for some time.

The pasta party... I went to see if the 10K was sold out for a friend earlier and the 10K was at 98% but the pasta was sold out.

I say do it! It's my favorite course and the medallion and shirt were so adorable this year. Out of all the Disney 5k's I've done, last year was the best.

I'm new to this group but I'll chime it-I registered for the Challenge. I'm a little nervous as I used to be a runner but had too many injuries, so now I am learning to race walk. This morning I walked 6 miles at just under a 15 minute pace- hoping that with more training I will be a little speedier- but mostly I just want to complete the races within the time limits--It'll be a dream come true for sure!!
