Official thread for watchers of "Las Vegas" TV show

Hello fellow DIS'ers, I am hoping to unite the other "Las Vegas" TV show lovers.

Sadly, I am addicted to this show. I really don't watch much Network or Cable TV, but this show has me hooked.

I think Danny McCoy is dreamy and the girls are just gorgeous! I love the scenery (love Las Vegas) and think the shows are well done. James Caan, what can I say, he rocks!!

The season premiere was GREAT!! I think the creators figured that the show was getting so big they could expand...great idea.

What is up with Nessa?? Where did she go, is she coming back? I have a vested interest since she is Mrs. Evers in the Haunted Mansion movie. Although, honestly, her character didn't add that much to the show, having her gone would not create any very noticeable absence in my opinion.

Quick question for those who watched last year...I thought I remembered seeing commericals for Danny and Mary getting married? What happened there? And who is this Jake guy?

I love the show and didn't really like the season premiere. I HATE the addition of Lara Flynn Boyle. They so could have done with out. It seemed like they were just trying to get her into as many scenes as they could, even if she would be better not there at all.

I also wondered about Nessa, I didn't notice if she was in the opening credits or not. Did she officially leave the show? I would think they would have to revisit that whole situation especially since DeLinda isn't talking to her father b/c of it. And they need to show what exactly happened to danny's dad.

I feel like I already know whats going to happen this season, maybe thats why I'm not too thrilled.

This show is my guilty pleasure. Josh Duhumel is so easy on the eyes.

I also wondered about Nessa, I didn't notice if she was in the opening credits or not.

She wasn't in the credits. That situation has me so confused, too. At first, I thought I might have missed an ep. where what happened was explained. Maybe the show is holding back that info until later episodes.

I really like it too. I'm a huge Danny and Mary fan so I'm bummed that they are apart. I'm hoping that they'll end the series w/Danny and Mary.

I think the actress that played Nessa wanted to leave the show. I didn't really like Nessa so I'm ok with that. I could do without a lot of Delinda too!

I hope we start to learn more about Sam this season. Vanessa's son is getting older so hopefully she's willing to do more work and be a bigger part of the show.

I didn't love the premire and I'm not sure I'm liking LFB's character. I wish it was Dean Cain who was the new owner instead.

AHH I just lost my 1st reply.

At the end of season 2 Nessa found out that her father was alive and she had a sister.
Her and Delinda when to England to find the sister. They were followed by a hit man type who I think was trying to use the sisters to lure the dad out of hiding.

In 3.2 Ed told Mike that Nessa, her father and sister were given new identies and were back in hiding.

I don't know what happened with Delinda but it has to do with how he handled the Nessa situation. I'm not wondering if it is something stupid like Delinda is mad that Ed let Nessa go so easily.

It all seems hastily written and I assume it was after Marsha Thomason decided to leave the show.

Count me confused too! I love this show, but wondered if I had missed the final episode last season? Why is Delinda so mad at her Dad? Who is Mary with? I remembered that Danny's father died. Not a big fan of LaraFlynn Boyle either - but it looks like she might have gained a half pound.

I too love this show. I started watching it because of Josh Duhamel (Danny) He was on All My Children and he is just amazing.

I now watch this show because I really enjoy it. I don't miss Nessa, I think she was the weak link.

I really want to know who this Jake guy is. Did Mary get married or ??? Lot of questions that I know will be answered in time.

Mary broke up with Danny for some dumb reason, like she didn't believe he really wanted to be with her or something equally silly.

Jake was the secret admirer. He's like the Asst DA or something like that. A lawyer. His family also has a lot of $$$$$$$$. I always thought their relationship was a little stalkerish. They started dating around valentines day last year.

In the finale they left together. I don't know where they went or when they got back to Vagas. I got the impression Mary was unsure about leaving with him. She didn't say goodbye to Danny and didn't know his dad died before she left.

I don't know if they are married or not. I thought they were just living together because there was no mention of a wedding and with all the talk about Danny's dad's funeral (and people not attending) you would think they would say 'Mary sorry we missed the wedding' or something like that.

On the IMDB message board people are assume they are married. I'll have to check TiVo for a ring.

Oh I'm not a super freak. The finale reran on the 12th and my TiVo picked it up so I rewatched.

I love this show but was not overly thrilled with the season premier, I'm sure that Mary won't stay with Jake because of all the references about him working late, her and Danny will end up together eventually(IMO) . I love love the new Monticito !!! too bad it wasn't a real Vegas casino, I think the outside is beautiful !!
As for Nessa, I think she will return for a special or something because she was still listed in the credits, they didn't explain exactly what happened, they're sucking us in to watch and find out !
as for LFB, hmmm not sure about her yet, but I do like Sam and I think it will be fun to watch the "cattiness" between these two !!
Oh and Danny ..... ummmm "Hot Hot Hot" I also like Mike, I think he's a great addition to the show !

I did notice that during the scene when Danny went to Mary's house to talk to her, she was hiding her left hand...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

And then I began to wonder about this Jake person because when she came into the casino for the opening, someone asked about Jake, she said that he was working late again, and then they flashed to the thugs in the vehicle outside. I thought for a bit that maybe this guys Jake was one of them! But they never addressed it...

Yeah, Jake is a DA or something or other in Las Vegas. He was Mary's secret admirer for Valentines Day last year. I think she thought it was Danny, so I think she was a bit taken aback by that. I believe they flew to Hawaii in the Season Finale. Apparently his family is loaded. From the premiere, I took it that they were married, but I am not 100% sure.

I hadn't heard Nessa was leaving the show and I read the spoiler sites. I must have missed that one somehow. I thought they could of done a better idea of explaining it. I too won't really miss her though, she was my least favorite out of the girls.

I also thought Lara Flynn Boyle looked different. My DH insists she got a face lift, but I think she just gained a bit of weight. She now looks super skinny (like the other girls) and not emaciated. I think all the girls on that show could put on a few extra pounds, their arms are so skinny......I am not a big fan of Lara Flynn Boyle, and I thought I would hate her on the show, but she didn't really bother me. I didn't really like her, but I didn't hate her, so at least for right now, I am indifferent to her character.

I did not like the new interior of the Montecito. It looked cheap and trashy too me. I liked the old one much better. I did like the new facade though with the huge waterfall.....

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Las Vegas and yes, Danny is to die for!

I was so glad to see him happy to back at the Monticitto this season, he was so down on everything at the end of last season.

MAry did not seem happy with her big house and white picket fence.

I can see Sam and the new "head" lady getting into a few little cat fights this season. I am not sure what I think about the new boss - maybe she will grow on me but I doubt it.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that there are others out there like me...here is the dirt as I know it.

Mary is with her guy kinda by accident. She did think Danny was the secret admirer, but obviously wasn't. She started seeing Jake cuz' the other girls were so excited about him (she wasn't as much so) and because of the $$$. She then started to get serious about him to make Danny jealous.

Danny was seeing this detective end of last season, but she only was in one episode. Mary was really jealous and thrust Jake in Danny's face for "pay backs". Obviously Mary wants to be with Danny, but she knew Danny wasn't ready for it.

Last season they were going to get married but after spending several days in the sack in a beach house decided it "wasn't meant to be." Oh well, I'm sure it will one day.

As far as Lara Flynn Boyle, I really like her, but don't know if I like her character yet. I think her an Sam will be "best enemies" and have fun during the season...we'll see.

Nessa, not a huge loss, didn't know she wasn't in the credits. Delinda could walk off too and would not be missed, but, who knows.

I too LOVE the outside of the Casino with that big waterfall, wouldn't that be something in real life..oh well, watching it on TV saves me $$ by not having to go

Ed worked with Nessas dad in the CIA and after he disappeared or was thought dad Ed raised Nessa (it seems it was for most of their lives) and considers her another daughter and Delinda considers her a sister. Delinda wasn't speaking to Ed because (from what I gather) he and Danny went to England to get Delinda and get Nessa and her family back into hiding.

Mary called off the wedding because Danny proposed to her right after coming back from Iraq. They have never really dated, just been best friends since they were kids and she felt it was a reaction to being in a war-zone, not what he really wanted. But I think we all know by the series end....

I think Mary and Jake are living together but not married. Jake works long hours and Mary hinted to him being controlling with not wanting her to work and some other things. I suspect there will be a fight between Danny and Jake over how Jake treats Mary...

Yes, I love this show, can you tell?

Sigh, I wish I was in Vegas. I love that place.

I cannot believe I missed the show last night!! There was a special shopping night for friends and family of Kids R Us associates (20% discount) and I was there for 2 hours.

Can anybody tell me what happened last night??

To PP thanks for clearing the air, really appreciate it!! Vegas dreamin' here too....but I can't have 2 addictions A Disney addiction is much better than spending money on gambling, but boy do I love those slot machines

last night was just ok. Someone stole Ed's identity so Danny and Ed ran all over town to track down the person. Ed, per his DR, has to reduce stress and take BP medication so the entire time they were running all over town and intimidating people Danny was 'lecturing' Ed.

Mike picked up some girl outside of the Aston Marton dealership at the hotel. She was hot (not in my opinion but whatever) and came on very strong. Mike borrowed Ed's Aston Martin to take her out. During dinner she when tot he bathroom and stole the car. Mike caught up to her at the fake Pure (Pure is one of the hottest clubs in Vegas, I'm not sure that being show isn't hurting it's status) and they went to the chop shop to get the car. When the owned found out it was Ed's car he gave it back to Mike.

Sam's 1/2 brother came to town to visit. He gave Mary and Delinda a lot of dirt on Sam as a child. Sam made him out to be a deadbeat and a mooch and then kicked him out of the hotel. Before he left he paid his entire bill and gave her 3ct diamond earings. Guess he had money from some real estates deals in Bejing.

The introduced an auditor who was keeping track of Sam's clients. Just another woman for Sam to snip at.

Danny made out with insta-girlfriend who played her jelous and insecure card.

that's about it.
