'morning - TGIF!

emh -- losing .5 lbs is a SUCCESS! celebrate it!! you didn't gain, you didn't maintain.... YOU LOST!!

Thanks, you're sweet  I think it's just that I know I'm not into it 100% and I really should be, especially with all the support from you girls! I have quite a bit to lose, so it should be coming off at a faster rate.. I just need to commit.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I have been very busy but just wanted to stop in and say hi. I've been doing well on the eating gotta excercise these next few days, as I already took my two days off from excercise, then again I've been in constant motion at work these past couple of days.

Amber sorry to hear about your job, just remember everything happens for a reason whether you know the reason or not. :grouphug:

Jill congrats on the weight loss and have a great time at WDW. :thumbsup2

Debbie I hope you got your wrapping done and that life isn't too hectic. :sunny:

AEG good job on the 8 miles. I know its not 13 but I know you can do the 13. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :cheer2: :cheer2: :wizard: :wizard: that your Mom's move goes smoothly.

EMH- Don't get discouraged, keep making small changes the little things really do add up. Have water instead of soda and juice, do 15 minutes of excercise, park your car further away, have one cookie instead of 4. All those small things add up. Lets just say if I had to be committed 100% of the time to a healthy lifestyle I wouldn't have lost 61 pounds. I'm sure others here would agree with me. It is what you do 90% of the time that really matters. Just make healthier food choices and start and keep moving, it really does work. :thumbsup2 I know you can do it. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks everyone for the encouragement on the job issue. Actually, the more I think about it, the more excited I get. I am just worried that I'll miss some of the 2-year-olds. I guess I could go visit them sometime, if the lead teacher will let me!

So guess what I'm gettin' for Christmas??? "Nuttin'!" Just kidding! I've got that song stuck in my head... "I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas, Mommy and Daddy are mad." LOL Anyways, DH is paying for us to have the Premium Package at WDW on our vacation! So that means I get to go parasailing, and boating, and eat wherever I want! Wooo-Hooo!!! I was hoping to be able to do the package, so I have all my ADRs planned out! I am a planning freak.

Plus in January they have this free upgrade from a MYW Base ticket to the Park Hopper Plus Water Park and More ticket. I had to give up my AAA room discount, but I basically only had to pay $75 to get the base ticket upgraded! It will probably be too cold to go to Blizzard Beach, but we will definitely go to Disney Quest (CyperSpace Mtn, here I come!), and Pleasure Island (Kungaloosh!!!). ONLY 40 MORE DAYS TO GO!

Hey everyone,

I'm just checking in. I've been sick yesterday and today, althought I feel a bit better today. I think I've been pushing myself too hard with the WPASADI challenge. I worked 16 hours yesterday on it (Seriously) and almost another 8 today. I was working on only 4-5 hours a sleep since Tuesday night.

Hopefully this weeks challenge won't be so intense. Half our team is at Disney this week though, so hopefully it will be ok. Jill - I hope your enjoying yourself!!

We'll I'm off to figure out what's for dinner and maybe run to the store. I must get Christmas cards and I need to buy a an "adopt a family" gift for work tomorrow.

blah blah blah

monday

i had a busy busy weekend which included 2 social eatings; one here on Sunday which was my first big dinner in my new kitchen! it went fantastically -- i LOVE having a warming drawer. i was able to cook ahead and keep the food warm. when everyone arrived I just unloaded it from the warming drawer and poof! a buffet. i tried real hard to watch my portions, etc; but i stepped on the scale tihs morning and i'm up like 6 lbs! now i know alot of it's water, TOM hit too and i had wine all weekend. maybe it counts as water, after all that was the first miracle. ok, it doesn't and i'm feeling fluffy for it. i'm not like, wow i'm back up 6 lbs b/c that's impossible in 3 days -- but seeing that higher number is a good motivator to eat on track today and avoid the leftovers! i did modify recipes some, but the leftovers are not regular-food either and i can't let myself think that. i suppose it's better in the long run to throw away some food than gain 5 lbs over the holidays.

definately i'll be exercising this week! LOL today is an hour walk after getting my DD off to school. she's been fighting off a nasty cold, so if she doesn't go than i'll do my 5 mile WATP instead. burn baby burn!

melanie i hope you are feeling better and rest up! PD to the WISH, et al. team for the first challenge!!

amber -- how exciting is that! what a GREAT present!!

Debbie -- we WILL drink our water today!! we WILL eat our veggies!!

emh -- how did the kids behave for you on your walk? are you talking like them in a stroller together, is that the dilemma? I'm not sure how old DS is but i can remember starting up a portable CD player for my DD to listen to in the stroller when i pushed her. she loves music though. can we brainstorm for you to help you out?

becky -- what's the workout plan for this week? :teeth:

wonder what Jill is doing today? what's the weather at WDW anyone know? i haven't even let myself think too much about Mom and mine's trip in Jan. been too busy! i do have some ADRs for us though, gotta make one for pre-marathon meal; we have park passes any suggestions for a good buffet? i'm not into lots of food just lots to pick from but good food. Hollywood and Vine? Liberty Tree? (that's a buffet right?) gotta research but thought i'd throw it out there

here's to a GREAT day for everyone and mucho PD for making good healthy choices! today counts -- 2 days until WI!

Molli - I hope Jill is enjoying herself. She worked really hard this week before leaving with the WPASADI challenge.

1900 Park Fare is good and of course there is always BOMAS - My fav! I also really like Ohana's.

I have to start getting busy thinking about our July reservations. It will be time next month for my ADR's.

I am home sick today. I feel better, but I thought I needed another day of rest. Then maybe I'll be doing well tomorrow. Eating is going well. I feel like I have a really good handle on it, although I wasn't counting too well while I was sick, but I don't think I did bad. Just didn't feel well enough to count (or was it that I didn't have time to count while I was busy working on our project?).

The scale is staying at 140.0 to 140.2 the past few days. I'm just waiting (not so patiently) for it to dip to the 139 number. I'm so excited to get into the 130's again. Woo hoo!

Have a great day everyone!

Today I walked/jogged for somewhere between 5 and 6 miles, last night I did DDR. The others again and maybe some stationary bike, yoga, pilates or weight lifting. I get very bored if I do the same thing day in and out so I am always doing something different. What I do each day depends on my mood and the weather.

Just a quick HI from me...

I have final exams tonight! :scared:

Wish me luck and pixie dust!!! pixiedust:

Good luck, Amber! Not that you'll need it--I'm sure that you are prepared! But I'm sending the pixiedust: anyway, because everyone likes a little sprinkle sometimes!

At this time of year, I get absoluteely exhausted. The kids at school are excited-and I love that!-but it calls for ALL of my inner energy to be spent from 9 until 3:30. I just don't have the energy to exercise after school...so I improvise. Up and down the stairs an extra time or two. When I'm on yard duty, I try to be in motion the entire 15-20 minutes. And, we've had the grade 7's in to do 15 minutes of fun physical activities on Tuesdays for the past month, so I participate with the kiddos. Chicken jacks, bell hops, knee tucks. Not much, but something, so I will go with it. :)

It looks like rain today, and the 3 feet of snow from Friday is quickly melting away. If that was winter.....I'm good! :thumbsup2
