The thing with Cirie is she is looking at for herself and only herself - yes she is a nurse but she is looking at as the more people injured it keeps her safe a little longer. She is trying to outwit them to win the game. I don't really care for her too much though.

I am rooting for Amanda now. I was an Ozzy fan but we know how that turned out. I really don't like Natalie - she is mean and nasty.

You would think as a nurse she should show a little compasion and try to help the injured a little bit. Wasn't there another nurse a few shows back that tried to help with the sick? On All-Stars I think??

If I remember correctly, Pavarti was talking to the other girls while Amanda was on Exile Island, so at that point she didn't know whether Amanda had found the idol or not. And wasn't there a conversation in the jungle between Amanda and Pavarti where Pavarti told Amanda the others wanted to vote her out but she (Pavarti) couldn't go along with them; and that's when Amanda asked for Pavarti's help to distract the others so Amanda could dig under the flag and find the idol.

I agree, and I hope James remembers and tells the rest of the jury how Cirie didn't try to help. They never even showed her looking at Alexis's knee. Granted, we're only seeing what the producers want us to see.

I can't wait to get home and watch the Ponderosa scenes when James and Alexis join the jury. I'm hoping that since James was allowed to go to tribal council with the IV pole they'll let him hang out at Ponderosa with the rest of the jury.

And I have to say that the jury this time around is priceless! I just love watching Eliza's over-the-top expressions, and Ozzy and Jason are more animated that the jury usually is.

Joy abounded when Amanda pulled out the hidden immunity idol. I hope James and Ozzy took notes about said idols' purpose.

I thought it was great that the girls were so sure that Amanda was leaving that they said out loud that Amanda was not responsible for anyone sitting in the jury.....If there were any questions in the jurys mind who flipped on them in the vote, the girls made it clear it was not Amanda..

I agree.....I don't think Amanda will be very popular around camp next week, except with Parvati. I think Natalie will be gunning for her.
Whoever gets to the final 3 better hope that Amanda's not there; she'd probably win hands down.

Another thing with Cirie and her being a nurse. In her original season there was one of the guys that had a rash or something and she just kept laughing and he actually asked her to look at it and she giggled and laughed...anyone remember that?

I think, if I recall, Cirie is a surgical nurse. So while, sure, she can probably tell if a bone is broken or if James' finger is infected, she's not a 'treatment' nurse per se. I am sure she knows what to look for, but I don't know, that's just a different kind of nursing to me. And for all we know, she did take a peek at his finger and say, 'yeah, that doesn't look good James.' Cause really, they condense 2-3 days down to 50 minutes.

i thought last night's episode was FAB U LOUS. Go Amanda! She rocked it!

At first I felt bad for his Dad when he wondered why people wouldn't invite James to dinner, then I had to laugh when he said he will have to talk about that girl. I wonder why so many picked James. The 1st person I thought of that I would invite to dinner was James. Sad to see him go. I'd like to see Erik or Amanday win. I was hoping they would vote off Cirie.

James even voted for himself as the person not to invite to dinner.

I'm SO ready for Cirie's lazy butt to be evicted! I noticed, with the medical stuff, she makes reference to being a nurse, but she never even looks at the injuries... hmmm. nurses I know would be checking it out, giving their opinions.

It was great last night, seeing the idol being used to turn the sequence around - can't wait to see "returning to camp" scenes last week.

I think they voted James the one they would invite home because of his lack of a "filter" - he says what he thinks, no sugarcoating - sometimes sugarcoating is necessary!

Thanks Alice! That is exactly what I thought. I remember Cirie being an OR/surgical nurse as well. And honestly, what is she supposed to do in the middle of the jungle with no medical supplies. And she may have looked at James finger/Alexis' knee, but Survivor chose not to air that.

OR nurse or not, she would still have basic first aid training. And she stated herself, that she was doing nothing to help those who were hurt.

But again, what is she gonna do? It's not like she has a stash of hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol, bandages to clean out wounds. I go back and forth to enjoying Cirie, and having her irritate me, but really- even if she has first aid training, she has NO supplies out there, nothing. All she can say is, 'yeah, I think that is infected, you might want to see a medic.'

Cirie could just tell Alexis to keep her knee elevated if it were swollen, or tell James that his finger is infected, but it's not like she could touch James's finger or put anything on it. If she touched it she could just make the infection worse or get the bacteria inside a cut of her own since she doesn't have anything to sanitize her own hands with.

Wow! James' infection is worse than they made out. I'm watching the Ponderosa videos. He ended up having to go back to the hospital for round the clock care to battle the infection.

It's hard to say with editing an all but she did tell Natalie and Alexis she would not vote against Amanda and that was before she and Amanda were working together to get rid of one of them.

I'm hoping she does have someredeeming qualities since it looks like she will be in the game a little longer

Good point. You would think Cirie would have figured that out after using the same strategy last time.

I'm stumped over that one too. I didn't care for her the first time around and not this time either.

Sometimes you can never figure out how the jury will vote. Cirie could win. She was playing the game very well up until the merge. She was actually running the show, not Ozzy who just thought he was. For the first time I actually saw her falter when she chose to vote against Amanda instead of with her. But I'm glad that Amanda had the since not to trust Cirie with the knowledge that she knew where the idol was hidden. They didn't trust her before when Ozzy had it so there must be something going on that we haven't seen.

I think that they should have voted Natalie off instead of Alexis. She is the evil one but then Alexis was liked by everyone so it would have been hard to go up against her at TC. It needs to come out at TC about Natalie's sceming or maybe it already has and we just haven't seen it. They may think that Natalie is one, like Parvati, to take to TC but the jury may decide that she's played the game well and choose her to win.

Of the one's left, I think that Amanda has played the best so far.

On the same note - Johnny Fairplay? Couldn't stand the guy! But he brought ratings so maybe they thought the same about Cirie. Either you love her or hate her.

Ya know, I most want Amanda to win, but I think as along as Natalie doesn't win, I'd be ok with anyone else winning. I just can't stand Natalie!!!

I think Cirie would get votes, especially if it were her, Parvati and Natalie in the final 3. I think she could win over both Parvati and Natalie (I think that is probably the only scenario in which she has a great chance of winning). Parvati has backstabbed (is that a word?) pretty much everyone on the jury (and was outed as voting against Ozzy), and I don't see any of the Favorites voting for Natalie--I think the only vote she would have is Alexis's.
Don't forget that Cirie was the mastermind behind at least three major votes--Yau Man, Joel and Ozzy--and that shows that she is playing the game at least somewhat strategically.

However, if the jury respects Parvati's strategic gameplay, rather than focusing on the fact that she betrayed them all, Parvati could win.

I think Amanda would most likely beat everyone else left. Natalie has told the jury that Amanda has done nothing wrong and is not responsible for any of them being voted out. Her performance with the hidden immunity idol would also gain points in her favor, I think. She seems to be the most likeable one left.

Erik I'm not really sure about. It seemed like pretty much everyone liked him, at least up until the last tribal council where Amanda told everyone that Erik wouldn't help her out even though she helped him stay in the game. I think he could beat Parvati, Natalie and maybe Cirie as well. He's very good in the challenges, but have we really seen a lot of strategic play out of him? I don't remember. Again, Favorites will outnumber Fans on the jury if he's in the final 3, so that would possibly work against him, although I could see Ozzy voting for Erik if Amanda weren't in the final 3.
