Sekou was interviewed this morning on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. After he was finished they had one thing to say to him:

I like Survivor but this group is showing no signs of intelligence, character or commerotary.

They seem flat.

However, it's only the fist show. Hopefully, it will get better.

I think that's what I thought of the 16 survivors who started Survivor Pulau (Survivor 1). The first few episodes are always a dance -- getting to know the personalities.

I am surprised the teams are still segregated in this episode. I didn't think that would last longer than one episode. And what is "Aitu" thinking. They are going to throw a challenge to get rid of Billy?!? And they were so obvious about it. Numbers really matter at this point. I think this is a dumb move. But, I could be wrong(it wouldn't be the first time ).

I am rooting for "Puka" tribe. They seem to have it together.

I just rewound my tivo. Someone (I guess Candace) said something to the effect of sorry you lost the challenge we love you. Billy got a strange look on his face and said ,"I love you too" Then he told Jeff at tribal council he had found his true love. She definitely said WE love you though not I.

I think is was a smart move. he truly was DEAD weight, and lots of it. I mean, they originally were going to lose because of his work ethics, but then discovered he is much weird. "I have found love"

I am having a hard time breathing right now, because I have had a pretty bad bronchial cough for a couple of weeks, and when all that happened, I was laughing so hard, I got into a coughing fit like you wouldn't believe! Now I am wheezing like no tomorrow, but damn, it was worth it!

Just a quick vent for me.

My Tivo didn't work. It didn't record Survivor.

I looked to try to find the error, and the guide said that a show called "Desire" was on, that's why they Season Pass didn't work.

I a bit disappointed, but I keep reminding myself "it's only a tv show".

A friend already told me what happened, and I'll read cbs.com tomorrow to get a recap, but still, very disappointing.

Always make sure that Survivor is your #1 Season Pass, and that no one in your house sets anything up to record manually at that time!!!

You know, I had thought maybe Christina was considering flipping on Ozzy and keeping Billy--but then Billy started that talk about finding his true love, and the rest of the tribe couldn't cut him loose fast enough! And seriously, it was like he was trying to get kicked off--he wasn't doing any work!

Speaking of which, the tribes seem to be eating like (comparative) kings--chicken and fish! It seems like a couple tribes really knew how to use their gear.


Yay! For Yul and his abs finding the immunity idol!

It's especially hard when there are 20 to get to know in the space of 45 minutes or so (taking off time for commercials). So far I don't have a strong feel for any of them. I don't know who this year's Richard, Rupert, or firefighter Tom may be.

Cao Boi definitely seems like he's a character! I just hope he doesn't get too annoying to his tribemates and he gets the Billy treatment. Yul will probably make it far -- my guess is he's final 4 material. Ozzy could be this year's bad guy schemer. He definitely pulled that rope when they were crossing the bridge to throw the others off balance.

Billy Billy Billy ... at least he went out memorably. If he was talking about that scene at the challenge and not something that didn't make the edit, Candice said "we love you" but not in a "take me, I'm yours" way. IMO it was more of a "your own team may want to get rid of you but ....." way.

Parvati Parvati Parvati .... now is not the time to be flirtatious to get ahead. You're on a tribe that is 3-2 female to male, and one of the men is married. You tick off the other two women and the married guy by flirting, you're gonna be out of there.

Exactly! At first, he used the typical excuse, "I am reserving my energy for the challenges"

But, you are in a game for ONE MILLION dollars. Did you see him standing there as Ozzy took his sweet time untieing the knots, with an adorable grin on his face?

If I were Billy, and I really wanted to contribute to my tribe, because I know they all hate me for what I have NOT done so far, I would of yanked Billy off the post so fast, flipped the line, and just start going like a bat out of hell.

He realized really quick that they were throwing it. Yet, he let it happen.

Oh, beleive me, survivor is my #1 Season Pass!

It was a glitch within the system, that program guide didn't list survivor as showing, it listed a show called Desire. So, Season Pass didn't pick it up, since it wasn't in the program guide.

No one in this house would be brave enough to record over survivor.

Desire is on at the same time, on another network. What channel are you watching Survivor on? It is posisble that your local affiliate has decided to air Desire instead. (I'd sure be peeved... we don't receive the network that broadcasts Desire, here in the Boston area, so this could have happened to us.)

I just checked the cable listings for last night, on Charter Cable, for Riley, KS. Survivor wasn't broadcast. It isn't scheduled for next week either!
