I didn't think the whole race thing was that big a deal. I think most people like or dislike someone based on how they act, or are edited. Personally, I'd like to see a whole lot more of Yul (nice abs!), and less of roller girl (on Rora). What is up with her? She lets the chickens go, and we can see her edited "crack" while she's chasing them on the first episode? Will she have anything to hold those pants up by the end?

You 'crack' me up! I think I would have killed her about letting the chickens loose- what the heck was she thinking?!?!?!? She must have just forgot?

I agree that I didn't think the race thing was a big deal. Even within their tribes, everyone was so different!

I hope the Hispanic (forgot their tribe name) tribe does NOT throw the competition next week- that often seems to come back to bite the team in the butt when they do that and it's a mistake....LOL at the one guy being compared to 'Mowgli, climbing up the tree!" That guy was impressive how he just skittered up that tree!

Actually I wouldn't blame them. It's almost not fair to the other people that they cast people so out of shape when everybody knows the first few challenges are VERY physically challenging. Same goes for needing to do what it takes to get the camp set up.

IIRC, some of the groups that dropped the player that was slowing them down did pretty well since they have to change things up to allow them to compete.

I don't think it is ever beneficial to throw a competition. Any help around camp is better than none.

To puposely lose knowing you will go to tribal council and be able to vote off the one causing you to lose.

And IMO it is the best thing they could do if they feel there is one person is clearly causing them to lose. They allow the remaining members to play as a team against the others, which is a stronger team without the person who was causing them to lose.

Gotcha, thanks, I kind of figured it would be to lose on purpose, but they seemed to get along okay. So there must be some internal fighting that we haven't seen yet and it will all come out next week.

Maybe not. I believe it's the Hispanic tribe that they showed considering this and they are the ones who have the guy who doesn't look like he would be able to handle many of the typical Survivor physical challenges. I'm guessing they lose the reward challenge because of him and then talk doing what it takes to get rid of him.

He actually seemed like a good guy, but it is possible he angers them and that's the reason to let him go.

And maybe even a combination of both.

I really hate when they do this. Why do the women seem to band together and vote out the one guy that is actually getting the camp together and helping them the most. They should take out the weakest first.

I'm glad they are having the Exhile Island again. I just hope the first guy there doesn't find it.

Sorry......but I would have voted him also........he was doing more barking of orders than working.........then he NEEDED a break, give me a break! I didn't see to much help coming out of him but maybe I missed something. Kinda like the guys I work with all talk and little of nothing else.

At first I couldn't tell who was Caucasian and who was Latino...?? And that one white guy kind of reminded me of Ray Romano, his voice at least.

I could never remember the tribe names so now it's going to be easy to remember which team is which!

Oh okay. That is the one my DD claimed to be HOT. I thought he was a BJ lookalike. My DH was waiting for the "babes" to come on but was seriously disappointed! He asked when Janelle was going to be on another reality show! LOL!
