Where can we buy the Starwars CARS? I know my DS (ok, DH :rotfl2:) will want to get at least one. Are they only sold inside Darth Mall? Or can we get them at any of the other shops?

for now only inside Darth Mall. Maybe after the event is over it'll move to other places...they are very cool, my nephew got the Luke Lightning McQueen and the Vader Mater, they were 9.95 and 12.95

Thanks everyone for all the updates and pics. Hopefully my friend is getting discharged today so I can get home to finish DGrDs Bobba Fett inspired dress and pack!! Following all of you has certainly helped make the days pass.

A few questions

Exactly where does the line for chip dale start?
Can you follow the end of the parade to get in front of the stage for the welcome ceremony?
Did the AI screen show Hoopla? Last year after the first night we couldn't see a thing once everyone stood up DGrD insisted we b in the front row the next night so we waited for hours and hours:faint: to be in the front and then had to fend off people trying to push in front of us. I d like to try being by the AI screen this year if she could also see the main stage in the distance. Any advise on that? TIA

I'd like to know about the AI screen as I'm almost certainly watching the hoopla from there. I am not in the mood to camp on the ground for 2 hours to be up front, but if I don't all I'll see are kids on shoulders. So I'm thinking of going for the screen viewing.

Chip/Dale = was across from Chewie, diagonally accross street from sci-fi more or less.

I am 99% sure they had the standard parade pole at the end of the motorcade with people following it. After the introductions, they cleared the street again for the cars to return from where they came.

Didn't remember to look over at AI screen, so no help there.

Also, I just realized I did not see the land speeder in the parade like I saw in photos of past years. Wonder if it was retired or just not used Saturday.

We've done the AI screen the past 2 years. We usually wander over at some point when the live broadcast of the finale is going on and take a seat on the ground. Practically everyone sits on the ground there (or at the picnic tables, but those seats go earlier). The stage area is always a madhouse by the time we reach the AI screen so I am grateful to have an alternative without the crowds/pushing/kids on shoulders etc.

Also, I would love some more info about Chip & Dale Ewoks. According to Kenny's fab character list (thanks again, Kenny- you rock with this list!! :thumbsup2), they only meet for a VERY short amount of time. How have the lines for them been thus far (timewise or getting cutting off)?

Is Dave Filoni participating any weekend this year? I don't remember seeing his name listed...might be some interesting info given they just announced Star Wars Rebels, a new animated series starting in 2014.

1.- if you're familiar with DHS, walking down Commisary Lane at the corner where commisary lane turns right into streets of america, across from Writer's Stop. I show it in the first video I posted above.
2.- Yes you can follow the parade
3.- Yes it showed Hoopla. It's fairly easy to see the AIE screen and the show behind you

you can grab a bench or one of the tables there if you're early enough, maybe 2 hours, if not you can still sit on the floor and watch the screen, the mayority of people sit on the floor and if they don't you can move and be able to watch it just fine

There's a video of him talking during Behind the Force, other than that he hasn't been announced to come in person but he did make a surprise appearance last year so you never know.

Great video Yulilin!!! (i'm about halfway through the one with the lines) I LOVE the stormtroopers inside the park right when you enter. Great photo op! How long were they up there in the AM, does anyone know?

I didn't visit them, but passed them many times. Lines were long like for Chewie. Sunday they came out at 8:30am

Someone posted a page or two back about TSM waits...

i was not there but closely watched the easwdw "app" and on Friday and Sat it seemed to start at 30 min wait jump to 45 min and by 8:30 or 9am be at 60 min not longer after I was seeing anywhere from 85-120min waits for rest of day. With the exception of the parade time...seemed to be 30min wait at 11am but jumped back up at 11:30...also appeared to be out of fastpass by 1 or 2 at latest...

Sunday seemed similar although I wasnt watching as early and not as much during the day...I am thinking it will be similar or next few weekend and/or maybe being a bit worse...

Tell me if this is possible and what are the recommandation to getting it done...I am wanting to get photos with the following characters this coming Friday... Who should I hit in the morning and who should I focus on in the afternoon?

R2D2
C-3PO
Chewbacca
Chip N Dale Ewok
Darth Vader
Donald Stormtrooper
Darth Goofy
Jedi Mickey
Leia Minnie

Are the souvenirs for SWW only during the event, kinda like a hard ticket event?

I need to buy a T-shirt for a friend, are they only sold at HS?

I am looking for the map of Star Wars characters, as well as the character times for 2013. I checked Kenny the Pirate's site, but it seems the info posted is from 2012 (unless I looked at the wrong page). Is this info available yet for 2013? If so, where? If not, when might it be? Thank you!!

here's the site, I know he's still updating it: http://kennythepirate.com/2012/08/08/star-wars-weekends-map-and-character-schedule/

STLDisney here's the order I would do them:
Chewbacca
Disney Star Wars Characters (they rotate so you'll be in this line for a while to get them all)
Chip and Dale as Ewoks
Vader
C3P0 amd R2D2
