Official Star Wars Weekends 2013 Tips and Tricks

I asked at the Ticket & Transportation Center, and she did it no problem. She had a huge stack of all the character cards, so I'm thinking most of the ticket booths have them.

Thank you for the information on ticket conversion!! I also need to get a new TIW card. The last time I used it they did not want to accept it because the magnetic stripe did not work.

Got up extra early to be able to sleep tonight....camcorder is charging, photo camera has new batteries, tri-pod is packed and ready to go.
List of things to find out:
How long Ray Park's autograph session will be?
At what time did the last person to get a Park's fp's for autograph get to the line?
Does the 501st and Rebel Legion march on to the Star Tours gate?
Do some characters meet during the parade (Vader and the ones in the Tent)? Kenny might be able to find this answer before me.
End of the Day of Friday what L.E. merchandise is left at Darth Mall?

any other questions?...I'll be checking the character lines thru out the day to see the length of them, I'll post what time they gave out wristbands, fast passes, what time they opened the park and maybe I'll be able to find out how fast JTA filled up

Can anyone estimate what time we should plan to get in line to get a FP for Ashley Eckstien on Friday of weekend 4? Would 6:15-6:30 be early enough if whe don't care what time our FP is for, or should we try for earlier. This DD's must do for this trip.

I've seen people leave chairs next to garbage cans, anyways chairs are not allowed to be taken into the parks. You could hand it to guests relations telling them that you don't have a car to put it in while you go inside the park, or you could give it to one of the people you're in line with that have a car.

For Ashley you should be fine getting in line at that time, she also meets people that buy Her Universe merchandise at the tent from 3pm to 4pm, I don't think they allow pictures during the merchandise meet.
She is very sweet, we met her the first time she came and the next year when she saw my daughter she remembered her name, my daughter was very impressed.

You rock!!!!! thanks so much...I am most interested in the character lines...are you going to be there till late tomorrow?...would love to know how the lines are say at 6pm...we plan on catching Hyperspace from the monitor so 6pm might be prime time to meet some characters...

I am also wonder if there will be a character paloza like they normally do or if that will not happen on SWW. Thanks

I noticed that the map that Kenny posted was labeled "Week 1." Does that mean that different maps are issued for different weeks? What changes from week to week? I know the celebrity autographers change, but do other things change as well?

I'm 99.9999% sure she allows pictures during the merchandise meet, you just have to of purchased a shirt to get something signed. I love her, still talk to her all the time.

Ashley is awesome, and she takes her time to talk with all her fans. If you really want to meet her, I would say don't bother with getting her FP and just go to the Her Universe meet. You get to wait in line in air conditioning, we were able to take PLENTY of pictures, and shopping! My wife waited in the line and I would take my son and daughter around shopping and check in with her frequently. Yes, you have to buy something to get in that meet, but it is WELL worth it.

About the only thing that will change from weekend to weekend is the special shows that happen based on the celeb who is there that weekend. (ie, they won't do the Wicket Ewok show when Warrick Davis isn't there. Ditto for Visit to the Maul.)

Awesome to get comfirmation about being able to take pictures during the meet at the tent. The first time she did this, about 2 years ago I think, they didn't let you take pictures. Great that they changed that.
