Yippe! I'm so excited to see this thread already! This will be our second year at SWW.

My main goal is to get a prime seat for Hyper Space Hoopla. We have reservations at Mama Melrose at 5pm and if we can get out of there by 6:30 I'm thinking we can do it.

I may change it to 4 just to be on the safe side. I have no problem waiting, it is soooo worth it!

we got there 2 1/2-3 hours before show. planned on getting there only one hour before, but when we got done with an early dinner there was already a crowd. maybe 7-10 rows of people ahead of us. My son could not see the stage that well once everyone stood up. He was prob. 5 foot then.princess:

I am really excited. I was never really into Star Wars until hubby made me sit down and watch, now I see what all the hype is about lol... I am always way late to these fads :)

I am really excited to see who the actors will be this year... here's to crossing my fingers for my favs..

Do they ever have the Anakin character out for pictures?

Ok, with the announcement of the dates today it looks like my family will be going to Star Wars Weekends for the first time. We went to WDW last May and avoided DHS on SWW days because we're not the biggest SW fans and I didn't want to deal with the crowds. This year though the only day we can go to DHS during our trip is on Friday, which I'm hoping will be less crowded than Saturday or Sunday...
Looks fun though and I'm sure my 4 year old will get a kick out of seeing those characters walking around the park!
We're not planning to get any autographs and will not bother trying to sign up DS for Jedi training. I have a few questions though... will they still have the afternoon pixar parade or do they make it Star Wars themed? Either way it doesn't matter, the pixar parade is not my favorite anyways so a star wars one might be more entertaining! Also what is Hyper Space Hoopla? Is it a special show they put on? Where is it and what time is it usually? They do still have Fantasmic, right? We already have a Fantasmic Dinner package booked and we missed it last year due to crappy weather, so I really hope to see that this year!

Thanks!!

I'm SO excited dates have FINALLY been released! We have been waiting since last May when Trev made his Wish to be a Jedi during Star Wars Weekend! Now it is starting to feel real! I am so excited to start planning our wish trip! Let's hope we find out from Make A Wish soon when we are going! Looking forward to planning with everyone!

Ya, I think I will change it to 4 so I won't be stressing and stressing out my family! :rotfl:

And was it pre-paid when you made the reservation?

I don't know. We were taken as a walk-in on a week day. I do know we had to pay that day and it took FOREVER to arrive in the mail. The body hair and neck are Han Solo's. The face is the person having it done.

We are pleased with the way my son's turned out. And he had so much fun.

Clearly I'm not as big a fan as lovethattink, cuz I'm pretty sure I wouldn't recognize Han's neck or body hair if I saw it.... ;). LOL!!! But I am a big enough fan that I'm THRILLED to see our reservation dates fell into the SWW dates! Our first SWW--woohoo!!!

ROFL. It was kind of obvious. My 8 year old had a crew cut, and his cast did not and the neck was much longer than my son's. Would have noticed on dh too because he's bald, ;)

Congrats on picking the right dates! :cool1:
