Spoke to DTech this morning. They had no idea when or if they are going to have reservations. Last year they did not. The woman I spoke to said that it went very quickly for her and only took about 15 min.

They didn't do reservations for it last year? The blog from last year says:

Reservations are required and can be made starting Monday, May 7 by calling 407-WDW-TECH (407-939-8324).

Did they just scrap the idea of the reservations before that date then?

The cast member said she did not have a reservation last year. They walked up, had two people in front of them, waited 5 min to get in and then 15 min to do the Carbon Freeze. She is not sure what their plans are for this year. Hopefully they will tell us soon.

you could just walk up, but they did take reservations for it...still in the HUB there's no info on Carbon Freeze Me for this year

this reminded me of something...last year a mom got upset because her young daughter or son went to meet Darth Vader and put his/hers hand up to give him a high five and Vader didn't do it...please keep in mind the "Dark" side character stay in character when meeting and greeting...no high fives, hugs or other showings of affection from them...Aurra Sing really scares the beejeezus out of little kids (and some adults), if she sees that a little one starts getting flustered/scared/cries she'll back away but she will never smile. So keep that in mind when you go meet them

Yes they sign autographs, I think the only one that doesn't is R2D2 and maybe C3PO?...Funny to see Darth Vder being handed a girly, pink pen by a little girl, he'll not take it and ask his handler for another pen...and Photopass photographer are available at all the set areas, and some do roam with the roaming characters but obviously can't be verywhere the roaming characters are.
I'm pretty sure it's the first year that they've offered SWW autograph books, my kids are 12 and 16 and don't want to meet the characters anymore, I might find myself meeting them all again just to get their autographs on the new book

Get there around 7:30am, in case the park opens before 8 (schedule opeinig time) go to TSM ride, grab a fastpass....repeat. Have fun and...May the Force Be With You!!

Didn't think we were going to be making a trip this spring and now DS has been accepted for the Disney College program. He checks in on 27 May.....so guess we will be there for SWW.

Our DS has been accepted for the Character Performer Program. We are very proud of him.

We are planning to be at DHS on Saturday 25th bright and early. This will be out third SWW.
