Getting ridiculously excited for this weekend! Quick question: If I'm not staying at a resort and just driving to Epcot the morning of the race, how long will it take for the bus to get me from there to the TTC? I'm trying to plan my morning. I want to be in my corral by 5:00 AM, so what is a safe time to get to Epcot that morning?

No idea how efficient the busses will be, but to err on the side of caution I'm planning on arriving at Epcot right at 3:00 to hopefully grab one of the first runs. I figure if I get to the start ridiculously early I'll get a few pictures in and maybe nap in my corral.

At expo now and the merch situation is MUCH better than last year at this time during the first day. Lots of shirts, magnets, ornaments.

Thanks for all the recommendations, made a rookie mistake and lost the charge on my phone on the plane. Decided to eat at POR (not a hardship) while waiting for a charge. Looks like just ice cream at the park tonight.

I was not crazy about a lot of the merchanidise, although I'm certainly not complaining (or rather my bank account isn't). I did buy a carafe though because it was something different.

Just getting back to Boardwalk from Disney Springs. Going to pop into Epcot to see illuminations and then off to bed because the 5k is TOMORROW!

Expo was so easy today for us! We arrived around 1:45pm and we were back in our car by 2:45pm! We only purchased the Kessel Run Pin, Mickey Magnet and Darth Vader Ornament. There were some shirts I liked but I have so many tanks already.

I got my group safely to MK today at around 11am and then I walked to the Contemporary to get the bus to the expo. I did the Dooney section first and got the tote. Yay! Then I walked through and picked up bibs and shirts for DD and I.

The bus back to the Contemporary was having trouble so I went to the Poly and took the boat back.

The latest weather forecasts are starting to make me nervous for Sunday. The heat I could have dealt with, but now the thunderstorm forecast is changing and rather than just a chance in the afternoon, it's being extended into the morning too. No no no! The course for this half marathon is so good that I could not deal with another weather event causing problems. Ugh.

RunDisney needs to remove the "I did it" at least from the magnets,I personally don't like my car magnet with that quote.I think its obvious if you have a magnet showing the name of a race and 13.1 that you ran 13.1,or even if you didn't and are lying about it you attended the expo,no need to write on there that you did it.I don't have a problem with a shirt saying "I did it" as there are going to be plenty of other shirts that don't say it that you can buy instead if you don't want an "I did it" shirt,but car magnets are bought by everyone and theres only one design per race so it should be a simpler with a nice design,name of the race and distance,that's it.They need to look into simplifying them for future races.

I know! It's a small thing, to be sure, but I think they are a little overboard with the "I did it" on stuff. (Is it just me or is it also kinda insulting?)

They also were putting it on pins. ugh. A shirt choice is fine, but I agree trapping everyone with other popular commemoratives is unfortunate.

5k was pretty good, didn't stop for Ewoks but wish I had. Got a photo with Phasma and love the medal. Course wasn't bad.. Disneyland runs a better race Star Wars race so far. We shall see what the challenge has in store.

Merchandise is all over the place. One of my race shirts doesn't fit even though it's the same size and style. Some of the jackets fit funny.

Wow! So this was the first time I've been in corral A for anything- and the first wave. There was so much room to run! There were a few areas that were not quite as open (early in the race and backstage), but in some areas there was probably 20 yards in front of and behind me. I'm the only person in several of my pictures! Crazy! Corral B tomorrow, and C on Sunday.
