***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

I booked Oga's for the Dec. 11th, Droid Dec.19th, and Savi's Dec. 20th in incognito mode. Did have to wait for the flying ship for a bit, though. SO happy for everyone that was able to make their res.! And for those who have not, keep trying!! I have been relentless through the night.

WDW, if you're reading here, you really need to put out something official telling folks what the rules will be concerning ADRs and a possibly full-to-capacity land. You really do not want to slam DHS Guest Relations with a gazillion people with ADRs who weren't allowed entry and got charged no-show fees.

100%. Reading my 8/29 Oga’s ADR confirmation email more carefully and am intrigued by this statement:

“Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the reservation time with the Cast Member at the end of the queue at Oga's Cantina in Star War's: Galaxy's Edge.”

So technically speaking WDW has stated you need to be already in the GE land to use your reservation. They will have a lot of unhappy ‘travelers’ on their hands if that’s true.

Starting to think they should just drop ADR’s for Oga’s altogether. It sets up the possibility and/or expectation that for the price of a coffee you get to bypass people waiting hours in a standby line or virtual queue. Better to just give people in the land a return time. There’s going to be a queue outside the cantina either way.

Got droids for Aug. 30th for the whole fam 😛 but only two for the Cantina what are the chances two more will open up?
And FYI TP has Oga’s on there reservation finder now

I’m not reading it like that at all. It sounds to me like they are saying that despite having an ADR, there will still be a queue for Oga’s and not to arrive more than 15 ahead of your ADR time.

Mouse Dining had it yesterday, which is how I actually was alerted to this. I set alerts last night thinking I wouldn't get anything, and I got a text at 4am that a bunch of times popped up.

Ha, that same text woke me up this morning! I snagged the exact time I wanted though, so it was worth the early wake-up!

It’s no different than any other ADR. You check in and you are “seated” when the next available space for your party size is available. At least this has a drink maximum and maximum time allowed to help move things along.

We're going to be there in September (the 6 is our DHS day) and I booked Droid Depot at 1030. Oga's at 1130. Savi's at 1. I guess we should get there before the Droid ressie to try to ride the ride? What do you think?

We also are going to be there in December right after ROTR opens (the week after not on purpose lol). I can't decide if it's better to have breakfast lunch or dinner Oga's reservations (Dec 10 11 12 or 13). What are everyone's plans? What's the best strategy??

I succeeded to book Savi's but for Oga's, when I enter the day (in november), I just have the opening hours and no proposition to book. :/ I was hoping it was because the reservations for this period weren't open but I see people here booked spots in december and january so I can only hope they didn't open all the spots at the same time and they'll release more in the days to come. :/

Was able to snag Oga and DD on our planned DHS day late January. I'm glad to have a few months to see how everything is handled and plan accordingly!

Since we still have nothing official from WDW (heck, they never even announced that reservations were open, did they?! WHERE is Marketing???), here's how things went at Pandora, which may or may not be helpful:

If Pandora was at capacity and had a line to enter the land, but you had a FP for, say, 3pm, you were allowed to skip the line to enter the land and go in at 3pm. A CM was stationed at the land's entrance and they would scan your MB to confirm your FP time, then allow you in. You could go right to your FP ride, or wander around, and you could stay as long as you wanted to after your FP time, but it was the FP that got you in without waiting in the standby line for the land. My understanding is that those with a custom avatar (the doll thing) reservation had the same privilege: skip the standby line and enter the land at the time of your reservation (maybe also Banshee reservations? I don't recall if they had those.)

With GE, we have no FPs, but I'd think WDW should honor ADRs for Oga's and reservations for Savi's and Droid Depot in the same way they did FPs and avatar reservations - and especially since there's a monetary hold associated with them. But, of course, until someone official says something official, we're still assuming and guessing.

The menu online shows a couple of breakfast items and then lunch/dinner just has something like a bar mix listed. Heard from a friend the bar mix at DL was terrible though. Like chip a tooth terrible.

I hope the bar has great mixologists and decent snacks :) but it looks like there are two items for breakfast and just two drinks to choose from. You cannot get the lunch drinks at breakfast I am guessing since the drink menu is different :(

Not going to happen, with the 45 min time limit allowed in Oga's they are going to squeeze as many as possible in, the 45 mins is not alot of time, so for every table and or standing area they will be clearing out once and hour, that is a huge turnover......

It's why I booked mine at 10:10, was the first reservation under lunch

with so many people saying how many reservations they've gotten, i can't help but feel a little downtrodden. Is there anyone else out there who has had 0 luck getting ANY reservations?

I wish they put a limit on how many reservations people can hold. I know you can't have dining that over laps. There must be a way to limit the amount of reservations for a restaurant on a single day.

Keep watching. I’m sure once people finalize plans, they will start letting go of all the extras. Look into the Touring Plans ADR finder to help you look. Oga’s was added yesterday.

For sure. I only have one extra, and will probably only hold on to it for another week or so until I've finalized my plans for that day. We make our FPs on 8/17, so I'll need to have my plans pretty sorted by then!

I chatted with my authorized planner last night, because I was confused about the 60 minute check in for our Droid Depot reservation on 12/26. We have a 9:30am slot, but as far as I know the land won't open until 9:00. So she called the number on the reservation and they told her it will work like a breakfast ADR before park opening, that we have to be at the HS gate by 8:30 at the latest and they will walk us to GE.
