***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

I'm happy to share any advice or tips for anyone attending Celebration though the biggest tip I can say is we've both hit the jackpot in securing a Jedi Master pass as that should greatly reduce the amount of time we have to spend in lines!! Only at London was I able to get into the main stage for the biggest panel of Celebration (which then was Rogue One) so just knowing I'll be able to get into any panel on the Celebration Stage in Anaheim and not have to rely on the luck of the lotteries is massive!

I'm also looking forward to getting to go to Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland whilst there. I'll get to experience the Hollywood Studios version first for my late December/early January trip to WDW but it will be great to get to go to the Disneyland version too.

I'd be surprised if they don't end up selling a hard ticket event for Galaxy's Edge whilst the Convention is on similar to the Galactic Nights hard ticket event at WDW they did for the last Orlando Celebration.
So can Jedi express into all the panels or just the ones on the main stage? (I'm assuming there are panels not on the main stage)

There are a ton of panels. The biggest are on the main stage (celebration stage). Those are also the most popular. I went to some smaller panels. Those use a virtual queue of sorts and will have standby if they don’t fill.

I would personally prefer you to be in the park to be able to book your reservation online for Oga's or Savi's. It would be harder to secure a spot for a reservation if you can book a reservation from anywhere as opposed to being within the DHS boundaries.

the flip side is it would suck to have to go to the park only to find out there are no more reservations available. At least this way you know you have a spot (or not) before you would go to DHS

Jedi Master only ensures entry into any of the panels on the main Celebration Stage. So long as you arrive something like 45 minutes before the panel is due to start you'll definitely get in. I know it says on the Jedi Master package page that if you arrive less than 15 minutes before the panel is due to start you probably won't be able to get in as the remaining seats will be filled by general admission.

I've never had a problem getting into any of the panels I've wanted to see on the smaller stages so it's not really all that big a deal that Jedi Master status only ensures entry for the Celebration Stage.

I would like to think MDE will show if SWGE has hit capacity, AND whether or not the virtual queue is still open or filled for the day, while one is outside of the park, but not let you join the queue until you're in the park. Because WDW is a pretty big place and, on Disney time, it easily takes an hour to get anywhere, so it would be customer-friendly to let folks know ahead of time whether to bother making the trek to DHS. But given how well MDE has handled what its been tasked with so far, I'm not holding my breath. ;)

That would be nice.

agreed, I would also like for there to be a no show fee, for people that get into the VQ but then decide not to enter. It is basically taking the spot for someone that really wants to get in. I don't see that happening though

I forgot California is all the way over in a different time zone. I'm on the East Coast and eagerly waiting for reports of day one without reservations! I guess I have to wait a little longer....LOL.
