***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

Details, please? Arrival time, check in time at LB, wait time, return time? Thanks!

It was a 8am reservation. We arrived to queue outside the gates at 5:30. Once we got through LB we were held by the Matterhorn. We arrived there by 6:20. At 7:50 they walk you through Fantasyland and we were allowed in bang on 8 this time. On Friday we got in at 7:50 as we joked we got 4 hours 10 minutes in our reservation!

We walked purposefully (as Disney likes to call it) to Savi’s and were within the first group. Out by 09:10. One of the best experiences I have ever had!

Sounds like they are making some changes for the Cantina. There is now a waitlist and they take your number and text you an approximate wait time and then will text you when it’s your time.

I was thinking that they would do something similar to putting your name on a list for a restaurant where you get texted later.

Much better. Still curious about if/when they run out of reservation times for the day. Don't think it'll be an issue for now but might end up being a problem later this month.

This is something that I think will change unfortunately - we had so many great interaction with CM’s especially with one. He was so in character, it was fascinating to talk to him. But my husband is a massive SW fan so he knew how to respond. We’ve spoke to a couple of families going in over the next couple of days and they have asked what it’s like and then gone what’s blue milk, what’s this and didn’t understand anything we were saying because they have never seen the movies. We also saw a lot of people who were just staring at the CM’s as they just didn’t understand the interactions.

So I think in future the CM’s will try and have to work out if you are interested in having that interaction and immersiveness before engaging with you. Which is a shame to me.
I hope they don’t dumb it down. If you don’t understand what’s going on too bad for you. Why should the fans and those who want to experience this land have to pay or change to make those that don’t know.

Yeah, saw Blog Mickey tweet that - but said still 20mins into 4 hour window list was closed so definitely still best to go there first

I guess anything counts as news? 😂 Honestly, based on early reports of how “amazing” the refreshers were, I was expecting something more. :confused3

Yeah this going to be something to watch once the reservation period ends (likewise with Savi's).

I know during CM previews they were limiting time in Cantina to 45mins. Now they are telling people 2 drink maximum but based on the video review from the DIS folks sounds like it isn't strongly enforced as bartenders kept asking them if they wanted anything else even after their two drinks

That doesn't seem like the right way to go here. I'd still go with the 45 min max, maybe give each person one drink ticket upon entrance, and even if they don't add a rule it seems like the polite thing to do is to leave within an hour to give others a chance to see it, especially while it's probably the second biggest "attraction" after the Falcon.

Honestly same, I forget where I heard that these bathrooms were up there with Potter but someone mentioned that and uhhh... I don't think I visited that attraction.

Yeah, I agree they need something. When you only have a 4 hour window hard to spend more than an hour on any one thing but once we are past the reservation period I can see people just hanging out there a lot longer - not sure how you enforce any time limit though. Drinks tickets when you enter would help a bit I suppose
