People get upset over weird stuffI suppose. I certainly didn’t connect to that.
That irks my chain! You are on a new planet. Speak the language (at least try to) and embrace the culture. Don't just be another obnoxious American who thinks the world (in this case, the Galaxy) should bow to them.Side note: they’ve also scrapped calling kids younglings because it was upsetting/irritating parents.
Though, I do enjoy the meme of Anakin with beer cans, killing Yuenglings. That's probably the stupidest thing I've heard. They've called the kids younglings during jedi training for years now and all of a sudden it means murder?

I mean Crush calls your kids offspring, not kids. On Batuu, you have younglings with you. You pay with plastic or paper credits, and
Is it weird that now I want to go in speaking full on Klingon? This is something that I think will change unfortunately - we had so many great interaction with CM’s especially with one. He was so in character, it was fascinating to talk to him. But my husband is a massive SW fan so he knew how to respond. We’ve spoke to a couple of families going in over the next couple of days and they have asked what it’s like and then gone what’s blue milk, what’s this and didn’t understand anything we were saying because they have never seen the movies. We also saw a lot of people who were just staring at the CM’s as they just didn’t understand the interactions.
So I think in future the CM’s will try and have to work out if you are interested in having that interaction and immersiveness before engaging with you. Which is a shame to me.
Seems like the official word says no robes, but they are not currently enforcing it. Side note: they’ve also scrapped calling kids younglings because it was upsetting/irritating parents.
That’s weird. Is youngling a bad connotation for a child or something?
I’ve been meaning to learn a new language... Klingon is about as useful as the Welsh I’ve started to learn... hmmmmmIs it weird that now I want to go in speaking full on Klingon?

If you do see previous riders coming out of the cabin, then that means you are lucky/unlucky enough to get one of the two handicapped people friendly cabins. These two cabins are stationary and are not part of the 4 turntables. So they do not rotate on the turnables and they are not time sensitive to allow handicapped people (e.g. people on wheelchairs) enough time to get in and out of the ride.I've seen several videos (live streams and previously recorded) and I notices some inconsistencies on MFSR.
On some rides the screens are on when you enter the cabin showing the Hangar where you are supposed to be at but on others rides the screens are completely off, showing nothing until the Falcons takes off.
On some rides you can't see the previous riders coming out but on others you have to wait until they end their ride and you see them coming out the cabin before you can ride which IMHO breaks the illusion.
On some rides when you exit you see and hear sparks and other effects if you damaged the Falcon on your ride (just as they promised it will happen) but on other rides you just walk out and nothing happens even if you crashed with everything on the ride.

I wish the new “Like” icons included an eye roll, because I would be using it! It is crazy to me how quickly they are willing to cave to the complainers. And who exactly is complaining?
I’m not a HUGE SW fan, but I think that it is all part of the fun. I am going to call my kids younglings while visiting GE. In fact, I had been already thinking about what to call my adult son - “adultling”?![]()
"Aw, son, no matter how old you get, you are still my youngling".
Only the Ancients know! I probably assume that it is a local Batuu tradition, worship, or celebration, unrelated to either Resistance or First Order.Small question:
With being able to see the fireworks from inside Galaxy's Edge, is there a storyline reason for what they are? Resistance fighters celebrating? Sign from the First Order that they want everyone to be happy?
trying to find that out myself. We had our west coast streamer record the fireworks last night and while he did a great job live streaming and posting on youtube he's not a huge SW fan so he didn't ask a lot of the important questionsSmall question:
