***Official SEPTEMBER 2021 Check in Thread

Welp, I helped move DD26 and DSIL to LA last month, and managed to sneak in a quick 2 days on the 23rd and 24th- one with DD, which was gloriously fun. Now the rest of the family wants to see their new apartment in West Hollywood and explore the area, so we are all heading down there from Seattle for my birthday! We will stay in WeHo near our kids' apartment Sept. 10th-12th. Then they are driving us down to Anaheim to stay at Desert Inn (C2 Family suite, so 2 connecting rooms with parlors, and less for the whole suite than I'd pay for a single room most of the other close hotels, let alone DLH!). We are having dinner at the chef's counter at Napa Rose that evening, then our younger two DDs (23 and 19) and DH and I will spend Mon-Wed in the parks. We have tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash for Tuesday the 14th, which should be fun, as I've never done one of the after-hours parties!

just a service notice to those with September dates, there’s no need to wake up at early morning hours at your 60 day mark anymore, at least for now. I’m at 54 days out for September ADRs and all of my dates still haven’t opened yet. So just a heads up from someone that set an early morning alarm…. Not needed!

no clue! I check a couple times a day for my Sept 7, 8 , 9 dates and nothing! I've just decided if it happens it happens. I would love to have a sit down spot to take a break at dinner time but if my worst problem is to grab a mickey pretzel and sit on a bench it's not the end of the world. In fact lucky me to have those problems! Good luck to everyone getting their ADR's, if anyone notices openings please feel free to share for everyone here on the September board!

I'll be taking my DD September 16-19! Got our tickets to OBB on Tuesday, and just got our park passes and reservations today!

VGC for Labor Day weekend. We snuck in a visit in early June but are already looking forward to going back. Still trying to piece together some dining reservations. Looks like Downtown Disney restaurants just went up for some of our days. Very frustrating not to have them all up at the 60 day mark. I, too, woke up the first day and have been checking periodically.

Thanks! We love the villas and feel fortunate to have bought years ago when they opened. We check in on Sept. 3 and check out either Monday the 6th or Tuesday 7th. Haven't decided yet

So I went on to the site to check what Oogie Boogie nights were sold out and now they have reopened them all again except for October 30th. So, September 14th, 21st and 28th are now not sold out. FYI

Well, I have OBB x2, on the 16th and the 23rd… lol… hoping to add one more night so we don’t have to leave VGC before our last OBB party, but I think it will take a miracle for my waitlist to come through, haha… otherwise, well have to check out of the Grand and get a nearby hotel for the last Thursday night. The OBB tix were an add-on to the already booked trip, but we got them for non-park days…

Our flight keeps getting changed on us. We're getting there later and later. What used to be 5:30PM is not 8PM. Not a huge deal but has now pushed any dining plans out of the window... sigh.
