So I got my Mickey Mail today!!! 27 days from leaving, 29 days from BWI and 31 from the package part of our trip!

Don't you love the new luggage tags!!! Although this may sound dumb... what is the yellow things in the picture??? I can't read them and have never gotten them myself....

The yellow tags are for your checked luggage if you want Disney to pick them up and put them *magically* in your room. If you are just doing carry on there are no need for these.

I guess there would also be no need if you aren't flying. Seeing as we live so far away, this never seems like an option for us, so I assume it isn't for anyone else as well, haha!

I got my Mickey Mail today too! I didn't even know to expect it until about 2 hours ago. And, YES, the luggage tags are very cool -- 3D!

The yellow tags are for your checked luggage if you want Disney to pick them up and put them *magically* in your room. If you are just doing carry on there are no need for these.

That would make sense that I never got them since we always drive.... thank you!!!

After reading the board while waiting for my DD for pick up at school, I visited my mailbox and noticed...magically...that WE GOT OURS TOO! Luggage tags this year are very cool...

I don't know if you would get the tags if you weren't taking the ME? I'd expect not?

the luggage tags are AWESOME. So glad they are different this year. Not that I don't love the castle, but the Mickey face is COOL!

So ready to go. We've got our ME tags but still waiting on the luggage tags and stuff.

I know what we get for the package, but what about the 2 days we have as a room only...do we get anything for that? I would guess no, since it's just a hotel room...

So jealous of Mickey Mail! I read somewhere that international visitors don't get it no fair... We should be picking up all our documents from the TA in a few days so just hoping I get something with Mickey on it 13 days until departure, still seems like ages but nearly time to start packing.

At various points through the day I almost start shaking in excitement by thinking: I'm going to eat at Ohana! or I'm going to Discovery Cove! or I'm going to swim at CBR! and yesterday I even got excited watching a video about arriving at the airport and going on the train thing to the terminal. And as for going under the WDW resort welcome sign... I think I need help but guessing here isn't the place to come for it

We drove last year but we still got luggage tags. Maybe it was a fluke? Hoping I get my Mickey mail sometime next week. I'm at 28 days out until I leave for vacation, but 33 days out from Disney!

We don't get luggage tags when booking through DVC. Maybe it's a Disney package thing?

Tomorrow will be 14 days...and I've played the "Today in two weeks" game all day saying "DS will be in school and I will pack, and go stir crazy" LOL.

I think if arriving on an international flight say from the UK you don't, but we are coming on domestic after a night in LA so would have that option. Have ummed and ahhed and decided to pick up the luggage at the airport although that could change!

I always drive and have always gotten the luggage tags.... it is part of the package... but have never gotten the yellow tags... that would be strictly for ME

I saw those at Mouse Gear in Epcot too. We bought my step father a beer mug from Germany (he is german) with his name etched into the glass. There are lots of cool places in Epcot to get beautiful things.

I'll have to remember to check there. I'm hoping either there or at the place inside Imagination can take a wedding picture of them and get it carved into the glass. If not, we'll have to think of a plan B. A couple years ago when she watched the furkids we got her one of those personalized glasses in Germany.

Just got crazy & booked a "last minute" trip for Labor Day weekend...Sept. 1-4. Staying at the POP.

Took my son (16 years old!) on his first cruise this summer, and asked him at the end if he had a good time. He said, "Yes...but can we go to Disney again soon. I really missed going this summer."

They don't send luggage tags to international guests anymore (I think they stopped it in around 2008 or thereabouts). But you can still have your luggage collected by ME and taken to your room. You just need to give them your airline luggage claim tags when you check in with ME at their desk and they will still collect your bags and take them to the room. But it's not the yellow tags I want - it's the other really nice ones posted above
