Is it September yet?? :hyper: I have to give my dh kudos for putting up with my Disney obsession during the past couple of month of planning. He must be used to it, I do it every time. ;) In fact it's so bad I am now planning a weekend getaway with our dd in December for her 16th Birthday!!! Just me and her. :cool1:

I feel the same way and have to thank mine too! I tried a December trip to see the Christmas decorations but then DD keeps talking how she would love to have her birthday at Disney so I think we'll be heading back next April to spoil her a little for her 5th birthday.

PS - I saw on your ticker your DD's name is Natalie - that's my DD too!

I know the feeling! I talk about it just about everyday to my husband and I'm sure he's getting annoyed by it! Oh, and this past weekend I decided I would start planning my "BIG 3-0" birthday trip. I had thought of WDW for a few days but a few days in May (oh and it would be Star Wars Weekend) is as expensive as the 1st full week in Sept! SO, now I'm thinking a Disney Cruise since we have not done that yet. Oh, the decisions!! I guess I should wait until vacation in Sept to plan, hehe.

Ooh, I vote for the Disney cruise! May is a popular month to go, which means prices can be higher, but you can still get good rates if you book sooner than later!

Add mine.. except he checks Disney pictures more than I do. Amuses me since before our trip last year he really didn't want to go..was not at all into the trip..til we got there...lol.. now we already have decided we are going afrer Thanksgiving next year! Hoping for a bounceback!

The big 30 today. Can't beleive I'm at the 30 day mark already. I was secretly hoping there would be Mickey mail today. But nothing.

Speaking of Mickey Mail...when does the mail and luggage tags typically come? We have only gone once before last year, but I can't remember when we got our mail? :confused3

Also, congrats on 30 days! I'm at 56 and I just can't wait!!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

We usually get ours 2-3 weeks after paying it off. It comes in one package, unless you request extra luggage tags, then those are sent separately.

Yeah, mine's been paid off for a couple months.
Maybe they send it out around a month before?

They send it around the 45-day cut off... meaning 45 days before your trip... however, if you use a TA it goes to them first and then to you so takes longer.

I paid mine off in February and I did not get anything yet :confused3

Ok, then I'm wondering if it's based off your arrival date? We pay ours off at the 45 day mark or a little before so that could be why we get ours a few weeks after paying, which would only be about a month before we travel. If I were you I would go ahead and call just to make sure they didn't already send it and it got lost, I would hope that's not the case!!!

Aaaaaahhhhhggg, 39 days until we're in our happy place! Waiting for Mickey Mail, still tweaking our packing list, and so excited we CAN'T STAND IT!

Oh, not sure who updates the list on of 30 (and thank you!). But we're not staying at POP, but POR. Yahoooo!

No matter how soon you pay it off, they won't send the Mickey Mail until you reach the 45 day mark. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are under the 30 day mark and still haven't got it... but even with that it could still be in the mail.

38 days for me....what do yall think about these restaurant/park plans?

Fri. Aug. 31st, drive down, staying at clarion inn
Sat. Sept. 1st, check in at POR, then hop to Epcot. Dinner at Nine Dragons
Sun. Sept. 2nd, Magic Kingdom, dinner at Plaza restaurant
Mon. Sept. 3rd, Hollywood Studios, Brown Derby lunch, and fantasmic!
Tues. Sept. 4th, Universal Studios IOA
Wed. Sept. 5th, beach day, dinner at BOMA
Thurs. Sept. 6th, Universal Studios FL
Fri. Sept. 7th, Animal Kingdom, lunch at Rainforest Cafe AK, and dinner at TREX
Sat. Sept. 8th, Magic Kingdom AM, Hollywood Studios PM, dinner at Sci Fi

Sound good?

I have DVC and didn't buy anything from Disney, so nothing to pay (no meal plan, bought tix separately). But, I did look at the planning thread I was on last year and discover that I received my ME tags 33 days before I traveled. I'd imagine it would be around the same this year. So I still have another 20 or so days until I'll receive them :( :sad2:
