Does anyone use a hanging shoe rack to hang in their hotel rooms?

I have read on Dis that people use them to sort not just shoe but bathroom items ect. Is it a good idea to have one of these.
We are 4 people in one room and I don't want to be tripping over stuff all week.

I use a hanging shoe organizer! I don't use it for shoes but I use it for toiletries. We've stayed at Pop on our last 2 trips and there isn't a ton of space on the counter for all of our stuff. I put things like deodorant, hair stuff, etc in the shoe organizer. I just bought a hanging sweater one too. There isn't a lot of drawer space in the rooms and I like to take everything out of our suitcases.

I never unpack, we live right out of our suitcases, we bring a pop up laundry basket for dirty clothes. Then when it is full DH and I put all our clean clothes in one suitcase and all the dirty into another. I don't know why I don't unpack??? Never have...hehe Hanging shoe racks in Canada run about $10-12, so not too bad.

This time on Wednesday I will waiting for my ME bus. We fly out at 6:10am but arrive at MCO at 8:25am. So we need to get up and out the door by 4:00am for the 20 min drive to the airport.

We did EBCI on Southwest and I just printed out our boarding passes and we have great positions: A 22- A 25

I purchased a show organizer from Walmart for $12. First year using for me. 9 days here. Made laminated cards with info for each day yesterday. Goodie bags for kids done. With 8 people going (4 newbies), this should be interesting.

What do you have in the goodie bags, and when do you give them to the kid?

I am using the kids backpacks from last year as their "carry on" .Coloring books, snacks, DS, crayons is all I have.

Haha, you sound like me. I have laminated cardsfor each day, goodie bags for the kids, and there are 7 of us going (3 newbies)! I'm kinda getting excited, but at the same time i'm not as excited as I thought I would be. I think it will hit me more when we are on the way to the airport. Here's hoping...well, excited or not, I know I will have a wonderful time once I get there!

What are your goodie bags and laminated cards for? Just curious.

We did use the hanging shoe bag to organize toiletries, etc in years past. I recommend it for keeping the bathroom/dressing areas orderly. This year we have a 4br vacation home so thankfully we'll have plenty of room to spread out. At first I thought I would be sad about staying off-property; I thought I would miss the magic and the atmosphere (and the free dining). But we got an amazing deal, and now I'm looking forward to lots of room, a fully stocked kitchen, private bedrooms, a pool all to ourselves, and no fighting with strollers on the buses!!

2 tshirts
Ziploc bagged treats (m&ms, mints, gummies)
Pillow case with marker for autographs.
Freebie bracelets I picked up from the Nebraska beef council. (Eat more beef!)
Disney tattoos
Gum (remember Disney doesn't sell)
Disney ink pens


I will give them out the night b4 we leave at our hotel before our 6am flight. These are for older kids. 9-12

I'm excited...to a degree. We have 9 days of "life" before I can relax. We are ranchers and are having calves right now. Lost an important one yesterday, so bummed today. Oh, well, so is life on the farm. Kids are excited though. My DD taking her BF who is from another state and has never flown. Ranch kids on the loose! Watch out, Disney, here we come! I made "bull" shirts for them. The bull on the shirt is branded with a hidden mickey. Lol.

If any of you are attending MNSSHP and have a Joann's Fabric near you, they have some super cute Mickey Halloween stuff in their $1 section. I bought DD's trick-or-treat bag there yesterday!

I bought the shoe rack from Bed Bath and Beyond and the sweater rack from Target. About $10-15 each, so not bad at all.

I bring Clorox/Lysol wipes with us and wipe down all of the drawers before I use them (I also wipe down the light switches, remotes, faucets, etc). We put our dirty clothes in one of the empty suitcases; works perfectly for us!

Was just reading another thread regarding Dumbo fastpasses and it got me to thinking....
For those who are receiving the test trial FP's. Will we be able to use our KTTK to get additional FPs during the times when our trial ones will still be valid or will they magically be linked to our card to prevent us from getting additional FPs?
