Got the last of my Mickey Mail today!!! Cool luggage tags. It's getting closer...

I booked a 2 bedroom at saratoga springs through RCI so I didn't get any luggage tags
But I'm close enough that I can live with it...

Starting to throw stuff in the suitcases and got the packing lists printed out and going to start checking things off. Can't believe it is almost time!!! So excited!

24 days to go!!! I've gotten all my Mickey mail ..I work all weekend but on Monday I'm going to start packing!!

we are leaving in a few hours!! Not hitting parks until Sunday though, because of some family stuff.

I was supposed to work today, and we were going to leave later in the day but wound up getting today off too last minute. We didnt change the airfare to leave earlier because it was so expensive and now Im anxious to just get up and go.

I'm off to ATTEMPT to get some work done, but in all honestly, I'll probably be thinking more about what still needs to be done or bought when I go grocery shopping this weekend!

Not to rain on the parade (pardon pun) but I am getting a little nervous about the possible effects of some hurricaine activity during our trip. We leave in 15 days and things seem to be pretty active with the weather. Anyone else sharing in my concerns?

I arrive in 7 days. I am keeping on eye on Katia, but I'm not terribly concerned. The models all still show it turning to the north. Obviously it's still a bit early to tell, so we should see it more over the next few days. If I'm going to go through a hurricane, I might as well do it at Disney. Any concern I'd have would be regarding making sure I can actually arrive there.

I am watching Hurricane Katia. Currently at Lat: 17.5N Long: 52.4W moving WNW at 14mph. I hope it stays away from the U.S East coast. We are arriving on 17 Sept and I don't want anything to ruin our vacation. Expect the worst and hope for the best.

We never stayed there before so it will be new to us wasn't sure what to request building wise so I just requested a downtown disney view?

Yay for DISers at the GF! I'll hopefully have a Mickey drawstring backpack (my mom's making one for me...she made one with black butterfly one and I loved it XD) or a white and blue Vera Bradley one with a lime green Mickey on either! Hope to see you around the resort!

haha I think my mom's the same way right now. I have nothing to do but browse the boards , watch YouTube videos and plan, plan, plan ...actually just finalize everything
