17 more days. I was bummed to not be at MK yesterday as LD is our usual week but I'm getting more and more excited.

I too am completely useless at work today!!! TWO MORE DAYS!!!! I can't wait to get down there and get away from it all! And, snicker snicker, it's a trip for just me and my sister - no hubbies and no kids!

So excited to do my online check-in tomorrow!! Kids have been doing their sticker countdown and I packed all our clothes yesterday. This weekend I will pack carry ons...The next 11 days better fly by quick cause we are all ready for our first MNSSHP!!

We'll be there too! Very hard to concentrate at work bags are just about ready and tickets are in hand. Still not sure if I am going to check in on line or wait till I get there.

On the quick service you have some pretty good options it's not ALL burgers and fries. In the Animal Kingdom Park At the Flame Tree you can get a BBQ dinner on the QS plan. It's big enough to share. There's also pizzafaris in AK.
DHS - ABC Commisary and Rosies all American have tasty food.
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons, or any walk up place in world showcase.
There are lots of tasty places to eat. In the next few days when you have time google disney QS restaurants and get a feel for the menus. Then you can plan out meals for dad and everyone else. Oh and remember dessert is included for lunch AND dinners!

How on earth am I gonna get thru this week at work, I can't even focus on fun stuff at the house today much less a power week before vacation-I need help!!

Preaching to the choir! I have 2 more days before I am on vacation (but 5 more before I head to the World) and I've gotten about an hour of work done! Lord help me make it!

Okay, so I only have 6 more days!!! Last night I started packing, and tonight I finish! I checked in online last night (I was camping all weekend and couldn't do it at the 10 day mark), and I'm just waiting to go!

We'll be checking in online tomorrow too!! We're also attending our first MNSSHP! We'll be there Tuesday night (20th).

I have not had time to pack bags yet though because I have been preparing thing at work for my substitute. I just can't wait to leave

This will be our second trip and I am so excited!! My DD12 is not even as happy as I am.

We went last year during the last week of Sept with another family. Speaking to a few regulars we learned that it was the best time for crowds. Although I had a good time last trip, I am really hoping that this trip will be better. I felt that we missed a lot of what we as firsttimers would want to do, because we had to keep up with our friends who had been many times. Our DD is in a wheelchair so we just weren`t fast enough, and always felt that we couldn`t stop to see something because they were so far ahead.

Stayed at POR last year and really liked but thought we would try FQ as it had just started the refurbishing when I booked. Anyone have comparisons between the two since they have both been redone, please let me know.

As I told my ds2 almost 3 this morning, just 18 more wake ups to Disney!!! Going from 9/25 to 10/1. CBR for the first time, DS's first trip. Taking my mom as well as dw's mom along as well. I can almost smell the main St bakery.... It's so close and I'm way too excited.

I really like your approach to the countdown. Wake ups rather than sleeps. I think I'm going to adopt it.

Anyone else going this weekend? NASA Was supposed to launch a rocket today, but bad weather postponed it until tomorrow.

Here's hoping it gets pushed to Saturday or Sunday. Nothing like watching a rocket while you're at the world. I saw the Space Shuttle lift off while at POFQ when I was a kid (called Dixie Landing or something like that back then).

Can't wait to get there!

We have a little over a week until our trip, and I have done nothing! Good thing I have all next week to prepare.

This will be my first trip that I won't be riding absolutely everything (I'm pregnant), and I'm actually looking forward to some lazy time at the parks! If my poor hubby thinks I won't be walking as fast at opening, though, he is sadly mistaken. I've still been hitting the gym 5 days a week, and I'm ready to go!

Hello September people!!

2 more days until I'm in Walt Disney World!!

My Birthday is September 13 and I'll be in Epcot that day, having dinner at Teppan Edo! Yum!

So I'll be wearing my official WDW Birthday button all week, make sure you say hello (and Happy Birthday) to me!
