You bet! We are going to pick our dates ahead of time and hopefully they are available at pop

There’s no right or wrong decision, but I’m a proponent of the idea that the anticipation is a significant part of the excitement.

If I were you, I’d tell them today! Then start watching one YouTube highlight each day in the lead-up.

I agree! We tell our kids well in advance. We usually make a video / movie with their Disney stuffies and play It on movie night. Their reactions are priceless and the excitement leading up to the trip is so fun.

We will be booking a bounce back for the fall. I'm just not sure of the dates yet.

We were debating adding 2 nights after our cruise in April to get our WDW fix and then try Epic world+MNSSHP/After hours (Jersey week).

No bounce back for me as I'm moving overseas in March, not sure when I'll have a chance to come back, but I'm saying goodbye during my favorite season

Edit: open table doesn’t have availability; MDE has plenty but they conflict with most of our plans!

Reviews on the cake bake shop thread don’t seem promising. I did want to make an ADR but it will block off additional time for LLMP on a park day (we take mid day breaks). I gave up STK71, and rebooked it. We have the dining plan and need to eat.

Hopefully we will be able to walk up when we have time, otherwise we will save it for our next trip.

Hours changed on 12/23 for Epcot to 9:30, so EETPH will be 9:30-11:30 now.

It would not overlap for preselects so the system will book around the ADR; sometimes it overlaps too much when modifying. It just adds stress.

We’ve only used Genie+ post pandemic and ended up canceling ADRs esp at HS where at 11 am the system would book 8 pm (with an ADR 7 pm or 8 pm). The line for GET would be 30+ mins and they were extremely short while making changes. What I’ve been hearing is LLMP is even harder to modify now that everyone is well versed in the system.

Changed my mind (at least 2 of us will visit; too expensive for picky kids). Looks like the Cake Bake Shop will have a working carrousel soon! Food review is mixed; Tea-not enough and cold!! Pumpkin will be off the menu soon (wish it stuck around through end of Dec).

Hmm. Almost two weeks out from first week of December and no updates to the original hours! Was certainly hoping AK would at least stay open until 7! And for those not going to a party, MK should be at least until 10!

Maybe they still will update? For as crowed as the first week will be (as people are saying) 9 pm is pretty ridiculous for MK.

Last year the hours AK first week of Dec were until 7 pm. MK was open till 11 pm. They can still drop more hours. They’re late posting festival of the holidays booths. That week is also super busy so fingers crossed for you.

I'm still not convinced it's going to be insanely busy. There's always crowds so it doesn't bother me. Plus we will be at two parties and then (hopefully) purchasing the LLPP for one of our MK days and also an Epcot day.

Sorry I meant fingers crossed they’ll will release more hours. That week is no where close to the crowds we will be dealing with on Christmas and NYEE. The past 2 trips we didn’t use our ponchos at all (Nov and Dec trip).
