The crew and Barbossa would not be cursed. The monkey took the doubloon after the whole entire movie ended, including the deaths of Barbossa and the crew.

I get to see it on the 24th!!!! The movie theatre in my town is having a special preview screening of it at 8pm on the 24th. And I have tickets. AHHH! haha
